The deli / food is bad bad bad. I have eaten here 3 or 4 times. It all looks delicious, but I always end up feeling ill after. Although the food looks fresh, I finally asked and, yes its prepared daily, but it is all pre-packaged and opened from a container or bag. The eating area is nice but always crowded. The bathrooms upstairs are clean. The staff are not too friendly. Last time we ordered food she was just plain rude and ended up giving me "extra vegetables" to make up for a "smaller serving of turkey" since she had run out. And she was brusque. Then when you finally get your food, you have to go to the grocery area and pay for it, wait in line, etc. Its just a process and not worth it considering the food is NOT fresh and only looks delicious..... The bakery has a lot of pretty cakes though.........

Tried calling their phone line to inquire if they carried a product. The phone message says to enter the extension you want, or stay on the line to be assisted. No one actually answers the phone if you stay on the line, you are told the party you wish to speak to is unavailable, please leave a message. The few times I have been in the store itself, items were over packaged and over priced, especially in the deli, where a simple peanut butter and jelly sandwich was being sold for over five dollars. The employees werent helpful in finding products, saying either they didnt know if the product was carried (without offering any additional help) or waving you in the general direction they think the product might be in, even if asked to please show you where it is. Save your money and shop elsewhere.

Honestly two stars is being generous. I had never been into a Market of Choice before due to the really pretentious logo but decided to give it a fair chance. The first thing thing that caught my attention was the potent odor I could best describe as chewing tobacco being aired out of the deli, I proceeded to pick up some sushi from the other end but could not take the rest of the department seriously(Real Trailblazer fans take their jobs much more seriously than this). I picked up a few more things and the price seemed to be more than what the sales suggested (apparently a common occurrence was the gossip in the line) but I payed up anyways cause yall seriously need the charity.

Great Deli as mentioned, Kate is one of the nicest most amazing and helpful people on the planet. Things are overpriced however and keep going up like their breakfast special, meats, etc. The YouTube video of employees tackling a person and pinning them to the ground is disturbing. Perhaps if they took better care of their employees like Joes they wouldnt get so cranky, and stay longer. I really miss Richeys Market local produce, short check out lines, and family atmosphere. Not sure why with so many employees roaming MOC they only utilize 1 or 2 checkers. Owners could step it up by treating their staff better and also offer more affordable prices for the middle class shopper.

Its a nice step up from the other grocery stores in town. The charcuterie and cheese shop is excellent. Five dollar sushi Wednesdays is good. The beer and wine selection is good. The coffee bar could use knowledgeable barista. The fruit and vegetable selection is ok but why cant they ever find good avocados. Bulk foods is one of the best in town. The meat section is good but not excellent. The fish selection just needs work. Why is it that we live this close to the ocean and we have such poor fish quality? They did come through for us catering an event that was last minute and the other caterers in town would not do. The pizza is the best pizza in town.

I had two items that were "featured" and rang up at regular price...again... I will call this as " three strikes and youre out:... I called today b/c it was specifically a produce product and spoke with Rachel and was ok with the resolve only to discover that the pok tenderloin that is currently featured at 3.99 a # and I was charged 5.99, regular price. What is the problem.I certainly will be more diligent at check out but jut wanted to give a shout out.this is the 4th and 5th over charge of a dollar or more in the last 4 weeks.now multiply that per customer.not ok.just want to send a shout out.

Great choice of specialty foods here! An absolute treat if you need to stop for lunch and grab a gallon of milk or a beer. The beer and wine choice is very nice, though the beer customer service needs to be improved just a touch. No lack of bulk items, all foods are fresh and accurately priced. Checkers are quick and polite. The sushi is absolutely a delight. I would like to see more gourmet choices for the deli meats, but there is no lack of choice in any other department, even the health and personal aisles are well stocked.

Absolutely wonderful to work with. Got my wedding bouquet and wedding cake here and it was spectacular. I was extremely impressed with Beth Farley in the Floral Department and we worked so much together to make my flowers absolutely beautiful. She made me feel like she was going to be in the wedding too with her excitement and no pressure just pure joy. A delight to work with and will continue to do business with. Everyone raved about the beauty of the bouquet and the taste of the cake.

There arent many options in Corvallis if youre looking for a wide variety of organic products (if youre into that). I only shop here if I need a great cut of meat, random cheeses, or a good hot food or salad bar that I would trust to eat from. It has a lot of regular grocery items but they are way more expensive than any normal supermarket. My advice: if you have the time, get what you have to get at MOC and theres a Walmart neighborhood store across the street to do your normal shopping.

Market of Choice has some great food products made in store. We especially like their pizzas, wok stir fry, and bakery. The cold deli section with potato salads and what not is also very good. The store can be quite overpriced but if you are buying the food made in store then I think its worth it. But I try to pass on buying packaged foods here as they are much cheaper elsewhere.

I live in Washington State and visit the Albany/Corvallis area frequently and finding decent fresh food is a challenge. Market of Choice has a fabulous deli with hot, fresh pizza slices, grab and go salads, a salad bar, really nice produce, a fabulous wine selection and huge beer selection. Its a top drawer store and I sure wish there was one in/near my hometown!

Just posting for the last post it is actually a second generation family owned store. Rick Wright opened it up and has only been operated in Oregon. I love this store they have amazing quality food products and they work really hard to make sure local items are distributed throughout the store. It is a little pricey but its good quality food! Love this place :)
