I have been a resident of Ukiah,ca since 2007. My husband and I are both retired. My experiences over the years at Safeway have been a mixed bag of poor to fair. I think the prices at Safeway are fair, its your employees that made me do my shopping at Raleys, and after todays experience at Safeway reminded me why I left in the first place. I always bring my bags with me and also have a insulated cooler bag. Your baggers are just not understanding what an insulated bag is for. Duh! I wish I could have taken their names, yes it was a bagger and the clerk who just "dont get it". I think you need to show them what a cold bag is and what goes in it. ie: cottage cheese, butter, milk, oj, refrigerated cookie dough, turkey breast, potatoe salad to name a few. I was hoping you got a better crew in there that knew more than asking me if I found everything I was looking for. And whats funny is when you say no i didnt find everything, they look like a deer in the headlights. It would also be nice if your employees smoke somewheres else. I dont deserve a mouth full of smoke when I leave the store. Unhappy with Safeway.

Avoid this Safeway & its Pharmacy at all costs. Pharmacy Manager Andrew T. is completely lacking in professional qualities, from his appearance to his demeanor and horrid body language. As a pharmacy manager, Andrew has zero customer service skills, is completely inept at communicating with his co-workers and customers, and after observing him for over 30 minutes, it is clear that this man is a lazy liar, and hes running the show. You will be wasting time and money if you choose to fill your prescriptions at the Safeway Pharmacy in Ukiah, there are many better options all over town.

Ever since Albertsons took over Safeway, it hasnt been the same. All of the checkers that served me for 20 years are gone and replaced by 20 something year olds. I have no loyalty to Safeway anymore and I now shop the closest store. They also changed the products around and some things are placed where they dont make sense. Not the same Safeway anymore.

This is my go-to store as its very close to home. They are open 24 hours so the convenience factor is a major plus. Prices are cheaper than most of the major stores in town save for the warehouse types. Store is kept clean and staff is friendly. I like that some of the same checkers have been there for 20+ years.

I live in Roseburg< Oregon and the Safeway here has an awesome bunch of employees that are always friendly. I have never had a bad visit. My main thing is that i nees to know if Safeway is a subculture store. I love Safeway especially the produce as it last a long time when you bring it home.

I really like this Safeway, its convenient and I can get in and out quick. Although the pharmacy needs work as far as customer service and support ( not very friendly at all) . Truly there needs to be more help in the pharmacy and they really need to work on the way they treat people.

LOVE Safeway and all their great staff! Theyre always so friendly and helpful; I remember one time needing to pick out the roast for Christmas and one gentle went out of his way to assist my family to find the prefect roast for our Christmas Dinner.

Friendly staff willing to help out a person who doesnt normally shop there. I tell you one thing, Ill be shopping there more often! The pricing is mid range, but the variety of foods and other goods was varied!

Grocery at its finest, overpriced to provide the illusion of savings by joining the "club". Avoid the deli, they are often understaffed and the deli service reflects the situation.

Safeway has a great efficient system of clean, easy to find items. Their rotisserie chicken is excellent. Wish they stocked more of Natures Way Nuts and Seeds Bread; the best!
