I love going to the Goodwill, but I dont get to go there as much as I used to. This store seemed to be well taken care of and the shelves were nicely stacked with two exceptions. Unfortunately, both of those areas where ones that I had come to the store to specifically visit. I had come mainly to look for a medium or large dog crate. They had several there but they had other items stacked on top of them. To get a really good look at them I had to dig them out from underneath the other items first. When I was done looking at the crates and wanted to return them I had to rearrange several things to get them back where theyd come from. This took up both my time and energy. Then I went to check the pet supplies, which were nicely laid out, and the stuffed toys (for play toys for my dogs). The toy isle was a disaster! There were plastic toys, dolls and stuffed toys all over the floor with unsupervised kids playing with them. My service dog and I couldnt have walked through the isle without clearing a path first and since I didnt want to navigate my way through a group of playing kids we turned back the way wed come. All in all a rather disappointing visit, especially for the dogs, since I usually pick up a few toys for them whenever I visit the Goodwill

Despicable & Not Worth It! - ($0.22/hr Wages to Disabled Workers) - Look How Your Money Is Spent Please look into this and support local. Not only do these Goodwill businesses mark up prices extremely high relative to other local stores, namely those owned in Oregon by Michael Miller, but they pay their employees horribly. According to Section 14(c) of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, some businesses such as Goodwill can take advantage of the sub-minimum wage and pay their disabled employees as low as 22 cents an hour. In 2010, Goodwill employed over 7000 disabled workers who worked at these low wages, while national CEOs rake in $500,000 on AVERAGE. Here in Oregon, Michael Miller made $834,000 in 2004 and on average "earns" close to $700k. Local thrifts are cheaper and support other local businesses, charities and customers. Check out the Arc Thrift Store in Philomath and Corvallis or some of the many thrifts downtown Corvallis or even OSUsed for bikes, hardware and furniture.

Not sure about the clothes, everything I get there gets washed before I use it anyway, so I have never noticed what the previous person described. The store has an outstanding selection of items, keep in mind it is stocked continuously as donations are sorted, so its always changing. The toys are no different, as they put out what they are given, and its different from day to day. The local college crowd and older population lends to very high value donations. I always find great deals on speakers and other audio equipment, and their decor selection is awesome. This store is also set to get a job connection soon, so they will add that service for anyone looking for careers at all levels, from those who have no work history to those with grad degrees.

GW is lucky they are running a business with miniscule overhead. Zero-cost merchandise and a (very questionable) charitable reputation makes mediocre management possible without dragging a business under. Watch out for possibly-broken items which are priced higher than they are brand new. Junking an item that didnt sell is no sweat if it cost the seller nothing in the first place. Nevertheless, there are occasional gems.

For a Goodwill, this is a well-curated and -maintained set of books, movies, clothes, toys, housewares, and more. Things seem to mostly be in good shape, maybe since the college crowd in Corvallis seems to read interesting books, watch interesting movies, and wear solidly built clothes. Thats just my guess. The check out process was pleasant, and weve used everything we got there. Well definitely be heading back.

Use to like Goodwill, but ever since they started thinking they were a retail store and could charge ridiculous prices for donated goods. I have stopped going to Goodwill. something that cost a $1 at target should not cost $2.99 at Goodwill. at least take the Target price tags off haha. Unbelievable

Do not shop or donate here! Support our local thrift shops and build our local community. Over 7000 of their disabled workers get paid less than minimum wage, some wages as low as 22 cents an hour! This goodwill store is dirty, low grade, cluttered and engages in corrupt and fraudulent business.

Bought electrical items there none of which operated properly so they were returned. They only offer in store credit and it expires in thirty days. Ya goodwill takes your free stuff and then takes your money with a smile, what do you expect from a second hand store though.

I love shopping at the Corvallis Goodwill. I really enjoy thrifting, and havent needed to buy actual new clothes for work in a few years. This Goodwill always has really nice, reasonably priced office wear and an extensive plus size section sorted by size.

I have found so many good deals at this place, weve gotten a lot of furniture here for dirt cheap prices, the staff are friendly and helpful and they always have new stuff coming in, you can come in the next day and find completely new stuff.

Best Goodwill I have ever seen. Its incredibly nice inside and out. The items are higher end than usual and prices are good too. For example, Play it Again lists snow boards for $99.00. While Goodwill has snow boards for 29.00

They always seem to have what I dont know that I need. Ive never purchased clothes there, but there furniture and odds and ends are always full of stuff. The prices are about what youd expect for a goodwill.

Little dirty. Locals and customers should be more polite and not leave it a dump when they walk out. Halloween gets crazy in there. Otherwise, great (and typical) Goodwill. :-)

Great place to find Oregon State Beaver Gear. A very clean store with easy parking. The employees are always so kind and helpful. Easy location to drop off items as well.

Nice large Goodwill. Looks like it has newer registers and newer shelving in the store. More modern and clean looking compared to the many Goodwills that I have visited.

Great finds if you know where to look, plus daily deals to take an extra 50% off if you match the color on the tag. I love being able to donate to clear up space too.

Little bit expensive. You can get cheap and nice deals in the nearby The Arc thrift store. This place is good only for used clothes, I think.

Nice place to shop if you are thrifting. Very busy and could use more employees on the floor, customer service was spotty.
