This is the second time Ive been to this dealership to just look at used cars on the lot. I completely know what I want, nothing was in the price range for that. The salesman was nice and did the same thing they did 2 years ago - drove me around in a higher-priced truck than what I wanted and tried to see if there was anything in the other lots (even though they have the ability to see what vehicles are where in their inventory system). I figured if we were going to another lot, they had something that I might want. When we got back to the dealership, the salesman said that he wanted to check on the price of one other truck that we didnt want to take time to look at. Instead, a new sales guy came out and smiled pretty and started trying to narrow down what we wanted. They did this to me last time too, I expected them to run around a little and do the song and dance. When he kept probing, I told him my exact requirements, except my price range. He says "just a minute let me check on a truck - Ill be quick" and pulls up in a truck that is nearly $13k MORE than the truck we had just been in even though price was obviously my issue. He sold it well, got my wife to drive it, etc. I decided to let this continue because shes never driven a large diesel, or a lifted truck (this was both). Great truck, but once we got back, the sale started heavy in the truck. "If I can get this in your price range, will you work with me?" he was VERY good at the principle of redirection. Everything came back to price - you betchya. I finally told him, fit this into a specific range and well talk, which I knew he could not possibly do. He made a funny look then talked about trade in and "making it work for you". I know what I want, I know the budget I want to be in, I know the mileage range we need to be in to make that happen. I said I wanted to do research so he whips out his phone "what research do you want? Edmunds, something else?" My wife and I talked afterwards - we were both seriously considering the truck but knew payments would be an issue. I didnt want to waste anyones time, let alone our own. In the end, I had to get a little rude and tell the guy that it wasnt going to happen today and it turned into a guilt trip "oh, well you can do what you want, I cant keep you here obviously." This attitude is why people are losing their homes right now and you all want to use psychology to screw with people? Sorry, but I wont be back, even if I do find the perfect vehicle, in the perfect price range there. Id write about my mother in laws service dept issues, but Ive been negative enough. Since I expect a reply of something like "your expectations were unrealistic" from the dept that watches their reviews, Ill pre-reply that Im going to another large dealership tomorrow that has what I want, in my price range and it doesnt mean Ill seal the deal tomorrow either.

I I bought my 2007 Chevy Suburban at Carr Chevrolet in Beaverton 2 weeks ago and I must say I was very impressed with the sales rep that I worked with and the whole process in general. No pressure, No Hassle, they are very knowledgeable with great personality and everyone had a smile on their face I have been looking to buy a suburban for at least a month and have been online doing some research, reading reviews and price comparison. I walked into to this dealership on Friday morning (it was raining by the way) without an appointment. The lady at the front desk greeted me and said that the sales rep are currently in a sales meeting but she would call and have one of them come attend to me and someone came right away. He was very polite, introduced himself and asked me what brought me in today. I told him I wanted to buy a ford excursion that I saw listed online, but was told it was sold right before I got there. I then told him that I actually wanted a suburban and I have been shopping online for the past 2 weeks looking for the best deals and comparing prices from various dealership… long story short, he showed me a 2007 suburban (which I love by the way) and asked if I should at least do a test drive to see if I like it. Yeap, we drove from TV hwy all the way to 185th, via freeway and then back to the dealership. When we came back to the dealership, I pulled out my IPad and checked to see the internet price listed for that vehicle and found out that the price had dropped about 3k within the last 3 days. I showed it to him and he said YES they will offer me to buy the vehicle at the Internet price listed. Not only did I get a great deal, but also was able to get a 2-year extended warranty (through a very reputable insurance company) at a very affordable price. I walked out of the dealership with PEACE OF MIND. I would definitely RECOMMEND Carr Chevrolet in Beaverton to anyone looking to buy a new or used vehicle, but would also advice that consumers do their own research online on the vehicle that want to purchase, know the max you are willing to spend, know your credit score, and do a price comparison prior to making a decision. You bet I will do all my future repairs and maintenance at this dealership. Why I chose to buy from Carr Chevrolet rather than the other dealerships I visited (about 4 of them) • I was introduced to the repair/service department ( huge selling point for me) • No pressure, No Hassle during the process ( I actually left for work and came back at 230pm to sign the papers) • The sales rep is very knowledgeable about the vehicle and confident • Great price and financing was the easiest and best part of the deal. Will I ever go back there again or recommend a family member or friend: YES

Everything started out as the best experience at a dealership . Our sales person was awesome . My husband did ask before we decided to run #s if banks were still open. We didnt want to waste time . We were told that banks were still open and would still send in a response. We made the deal that night , both parties sign a "legal binding contract" . A week later my husband and I happen to go into the credit union that we had been led to believe had approved our loan , walked in there and tried to open an account because we wanted our truck payment to be automatically deducted from the account . We looked like fools , The bank rep. kindly notified us that our loan had been declined. My husband and I rushed over to the dealer to find out what was happening. We found out that our loan had been denied and someone had been running our credit the whole time. We found about 8-10 credit inquiries. We were only aware of 3. When was someone going to notify us ? These employees at this location need to seriously sit down get their stories straight . One employee told us that the other employee was working on our paperwork but come to find out that he had been off for 2 days and had not even seen our paperwork. Dealer wanted us to pay even more than what we had signed on our "legal binding contract". We rejected the offers that were brought to us . I was not prepared to sit at a dealer for half of my day off from work. We kept demanding that we have our old vehicle back but everyone just kept stalling. We got kept the new truck but WE are not happy with the experience we had at this dealer . Every time I look at the truck I am constantly thinking that one of these days We might get a phone call from someone telling us that the dealer never processed our paperwork incorrectly. Great scam this dealership is running . Leading people to believe they left with a great deal but they get called later on and get reeled back to the dealership and charge a higher interest rate . The supposedly manager got us a higher trade in value for our old vehicle and dropped 5 dollars from my monthly payment but even then We are not happy at all
