My MacBook hard drive died and I cried. While Id previously backed it up, Id loaned the external drive to my wife to backup her iMac and my backup was erased in the process. But I had the GREAT fortune to discover Teknyka and - with low expectations for success - took my MacBook to their shop with the hope that at least some of the data could be recovered. I met Gabe and Fred, and walked away feeling like these were people who really cared and would really try to help. Heres what I discovered: - Gabe was great about communicating and making sure I knew what was going on, particularly since my issue was going to take longer to address than anticipated - I was treated with total respect and am confident in saying that Teknyka treats your problem as if it were their own - Teknyka didnt try to sell me expensive solutions or unnecessary equipment - they were totally in my court and totally reasonable - I am HAPPY to pay! - Finally, it turned out that they were able to recover 100% of my hard drive data. While Im absolutely thrilled about that, I would have written the same review regardless, knowing that theyd given it their all.

Ok so the ridiculous person who decided to 1 star these amazing guys because he thinks they wrote their own reviews is out of line. I know most of the team there personally and yes, Im a relative, but my review counts too! They dont write their own reviews and wouldnt. THATS how amazing they are at what they do. Its been YEARS since theyve helped with my computer clean and I still rave to people about how awesome they are. THey may be a small local company, but theyre honest, affordable, available and accountable to their word of what they can do and the the prize is in the pudding. Forget Best Buy and Geek Squad and all the other places you may trust more than anyone: these guys work hard and get the job done for all their clients, even the hard to please ones! :) Keep up the great work, Teknyka. Very friendly, helpful, fast turnaround which was super helpful in my emergency situation. Super fair pricing and educated me on the situation so I understood what was happening every step of the way. First great local computer repair experience Ive had and Im excited to have FINALLY found a trustworthy, honest, extremely intelligent and knowledgeable group of professionals locally to take care of my computer needs. Fred helped me and he was so patient and helpful and made sure I knew what was going on each step of the way before doing anything that would be charged, he made sure I knew all of my options with very well explained detail. There was absolutely no pressure and the work was outstanding. My computer is performing better than when it was new, literally, its much faster. I am going back and I would recommend them to anyone looking for the best around.

Recently purchased a new MS Surface Pro 4 and almost immediately (!!!!!!) it became infected with malware/virus. A friend highly recommended Technyka so I took it to them to resolve the problem. In the meantime, I spoke with Microsoft Tech support who advised me to retrieve the computer to avoid voiding the warranty with any actions that Technyka (or any other non-affiliated tech support group) might take to correct the issues. Called Technyka and explained the situation. Although they had already begun diagnostics as well as implementation of remedies, they understood and charged a very nominal fee for their efforts and I picked up the computer to bring to a Microsoft store. The great news was that their efforts were substantial enough to avoid having to take it to Microsoft. Thanks, Ryan! The great reviews are warranted.

I have worked with Gabe at Teknyka Tech Support a number of times in the last three years when I had problems with my computer system. Gabe responded very quickly to my problems and successfully solved them. He also has suggested a number of improvements to my computer system, some which have saved me money. When my computer crashed a couple weeks ago, he was very helpful in suggesting what type of new computer I could buy. Then he ordered the computer, brought it to my house, installed the computer, and recycled the old computer parts! This saved me considerable time. I now feel much more secure with my computer since I know I can always contact Teknyka with any computer problem that arises.

My computer was slow and the tech came to my home to look at it. He immediately saw a way to fix the problems and gave me my options. He told me about things that I did not even know how to ask for and was very informative about what needed to get done. The computer was fixed and it runs great now. I also needed a printer so he offered to find an inexpensive one for me, then he brought it to my house and installed it for me. He took all the work off my hands so I didnt have to worry about it or try to figure it out myself. I highly recommend this service to people that are shy about computers.

I am so thankful to have found Teknyka Tech Support! I had been using the same computer repair company for over four years and this time when my computer had a problem I was dreading picking up the phone. I needed my computer fixed but I didnt want to pay the high price and have to wait to have him come out. I needed it fixed TODAY! I found an ad in the Canby paper and called. I spoke with the owner directly who gave me all the options available. My computer was fixed remotely and the price was so much lower than I have ever paid before. YOU MADE MY DAY!

Gabe was referred to me via my accountant. We needed our router replaced that required some extra configuring for some special diagnosistc equipment. Gabe called me as soon as he got an email that we had an issue and scheduled us the next day. He worked around our live operation, we had no interruption of service and the router was replaced, configured and all tested in little over an hour. What a great experience and a professional job I received on my computer. The technician is very knowledgeable and knows what he was doing. My computer works great and I am able to stay on Windows 8.1! At first they thought the work would cost one price, so I paid in advance, but it didnt cost that much and the gave me a refund instead of keeping the money. I also can get help after I got my computer home if I need it. If anyone needs help with your computer, Teknyka Tech Support is the place to go.

I had recently bought a new HP laptop but I later desired to replace the original hard drive with an SSD. After finding their promotion on Facebook, I decided to give them a try. I needed the laptop done by 2pm on the same day I brought it in, and even though they were very busy, they went the extra mile and met the deadline. They were professional, knowledgeable, courteous and exceeded my expectations. And my i5 laptop positively screams with the SSD. Nice job, Fred and Ryan. Il definitely be back.
