We wanted to eat before shopping here so we headed over to their "food court" area of the store. My daughter wanted a salad that was way overpriced at nine dollars. My husband ordered a chicken thigh and drumstick meal; they were all out of chicken thighs though so the girl just gave him drumsticks which were small. The meal came with a biscuit which was undercooked and doughy in the middle. I ordered two chicken tenders combo, which the girl didnt want to seem to make. "It will take three minutes to make. Are you you want to wait that long?" "Okay," I said. "No problem." I told the girl my husbands biscuit was undercooked and asked if he could have another one. She explained that it would take her fifteen minutes to make more or he could have cornbread or a dollar off my meal. So I opted for a dollar off. When we were looking for a seat to sit down, we noticed all the booths and tables were dirty. When we were checking out the cashier was rude. It seems not a lot of people shop here and we now know why. The staff is rude and lazy, the atmosphere depressing. I highly recommend to avoid shopping here.

I would first like to say that I have NEVER been so upset about a purchase than I am with Giant Eagle. We purchased a meat and cheese tray that was AWFUL, and when I called back to the store they were willing to replace the tray, but wanted me to leave my family gathering and travel back to the store to receive another tray the following day. There was no one at the store in the deli department that could prepare a meat and cheese tray. The turkey was so dry and old tasting, and the American cheese was like a big clump of cheese. I am beginning to see Giant Eagle is no different than that GOD awful Wal-Mart.

Im extremely disappointed by the customer service at this store. I work at an elementary school and the students have been working on a service project to benefit childhood cancer research. We turned in a donation request for cups for our event almost 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately we never heard back from the store manager. When I called to ask about the status of the request I was told it was declined and not given any reason. We were also told that we would be contacted by the store after they reviewed our request and never was.

Got there at 7:45 p.m. in hopes of getting fresh salmon. However, although they advertise that the seafood case is open until 8pm, I found it closed. This along with the fact that I was unable to scan my food without having a loyalty card was frustrating. Giant Eagle used to be my favorite store. But today, along with a couple of other missteps in the past, is swaying me to become a regular Kroger shopper.

Food here tends to be a little more pricy than Kroger across the street, so I dont come often. However, Ive never seen bad produce and theyve got good selection of most everything else. The fuel perks are fabulous too. Main reason I come though is for the salad bar - theyve got a great one. Theres also hot soups available every day.

hi i work at giant eagle and i work in prepfoods all of the fodd is allways fresh we got a date system and check inventory and shelf for dates every day. stuff dose happen. to me so far i have worked for krogers and and compared them to walmart or krogers and windixie there the best i take pride in my work and the food i make.

Giant Eagle does not have the best produce Ive ever bought. They do have great fuel perks though with $.10-$.20 off per gallon for every $50 spent. The meat and fish are okay. Its the Fuel Perks though that keep us going back.

Typical giant eagle. Sometimes the produce is lackluster, but the store isnt busy and is always clean. Wish they would move the smoking area for their associates away from the doors...

Giant eagle has fantastic produce selection, fresh foods, and the best fuel perks plan around (points dont expire at the end of the month, and you dont max out how much you can save).

Produce, prepared foods & deli are very good. Grocery prices are higher than Kroger across the street. Selection isnt quite as broad, as well.
