Well, I have shopped at this location multiple times. And the location is fairly easy to access from 66th street or from the neighborhood behind. The parking lot is decent and the store superficially is clean to the naked eye. But, even though it is cheap cheap. There are some things among the management and worker mentality, and the store it self that leave much to be desired. First the store. The store it self initially seems fairly clean, and full. But as you make your way through your shopping trip multiple occasions, you begin to notice various things. You begin to encounter the fact that management is not very good at holding enough stock in sales, on the shelf or in the back storage room. They nearly always dont have everything listed in there local add or for sale items. And thats not a very big add. At All. At least I dont think 2-3 pages is? Is It? Then as you shop that very limited dairy you usually notice they are out of some part of the selection of Juice like a variation of orange juice or a juice blend. The butter is usually missing at least one of the five variations of butter and one or more of the cases of hot dogs variations is missing constantly. As you attempt to select bacon or roll sausage its rare that there both actually there, and If you want both bacon and sausage usually your screwed, both are almost never there. At this point after scanning some dairy and meat doors in the cooler section, you begin to notice open packs of dogs & food molded ones even, laying on & under the bottom grates. And unmarked sales and some missing tags usually, if you pay attention. And the grates seem to never be pulled and cleaned with grease lightning or bleach ever, because they are mildewed and stained with food leavins set on to metal. The meat case never has T-Bone Steaks like are listed in the local add. And the meat selection is enough to make you want to become vegetarian, after you end up with the same cuts every week for months. Barfaroni! 99% of the food selection in this store and other smalldi stores are from Yankee Illinois, the king of food additives and generic food supply. So dont expect fresh collards, and cornbread muffins, this is the bare bones way of Yankee eating. Most of the food also has a TON of sodium and FAT! Probably the reason northerners are so much fatter and there men are more breasted, on average then southerners. Bagged 2.5 lbs Leg quarters commonly go through spurts where there out on the shelf for even weeks at a time. And much like any other question you will ask the associates. If you ask them to look in the back for more leg quarters they will say its not on the shelf we dont have it. Shrug there shoulders and say sorry, and just walk away not taking note or anything, like they dont really care. Or care to go through whats in the back to find your item. Sometimes the coolers also smell like mold which is a sign that the coolers and freezers may not be regularly cleaned and the engines are not serviced regularly or turned off and cleaned regularly. In produce they always nearly have green bananas which have no nutritional value at the green stage of ripeness, and are pure starch. Onions on deals like .99 cents a bag like there red onion sale have mold all over them, you have to dig through 100 lbs literally to find a non molded bag. customers also pick grapes and fondle a lot of produce till it has bruises and the associates dont pull it, they just leave it to be bought. The dog food I wouldnt feed a starving Hathaway. And when you get to the register they are so production orientated they bang your food up sometimes and dont make any really great customer service effort. They dont ask you if you found everything, and are just in a rush to get you out of line. The customers pick up on this and ride butts in line also. One of the last things I can think of is they have a tendency to stock off of electric pallet jacks and walk away with keys in them. Which is very dangerous during business operation. By O.S.H.A. Recommendation & standards. 2 stars for cheapness

This is an awesome store. I read what others are saying about being out of product or items listed in the sale ad not on the store shelves. The reason they are out is the sale price moves the stuff fast. If its a great deal people will buy extra to stock up, I do. Do you folks who complain think they hold a certain amount just for you? Nope! When the ad comes out go to the store and buy, dont wait a few days. As for items listed in the sale ad not in the store, not all stores carry the same thing. Ive been told that long ago and easily understandable. No reason to get all butt hurt and complain. There are things that a certain chain on Bay Pines in St. Pete that carrys certain food items that the one on Park Blvd does not. No big deal. Ive had a couple chef friends who shop at Aldi tell me the food is just as good as the big name stores, and cheaper. The employees at this store have always been in a good mood and greet me with a smile. I was having a bad day and one of the cashiers noticed and was able to put a smile on my face. If any of you think you can do better they are always hiring. Apply for a position, get the training and get to work on the improvements you think are needed. This store is a great place to shop.

In this modern world, most of us are now starting to see Aldi as the place to do our shopping. The prices are far superior to the big brand stores, especially the largest chain in FL and 2nd best rated grocery store in the nation. You can figure out the name. No frills here. Fill your cart and watch the cashier fling your goods across a scanner so fast that the scanner basically just makes a solid beep. Wham bam, thank you and good by. I wish they would cut down on the general merchandise and offer more food options. Leave those products for the general merchandise stores. Nothing more frustrating these days than buying your meat, cereal, motor oil, and beach furniture in the same isle. Do what you were made to do. Sell me groceries.

I love the stuff I buy here... good prices on European stuff you cant find anywhere else. But I HATE the environment I have to buy it in. Today there were two men fighting about nothing in particular and it nearly came to blows between them. Half the time the store is such a mess the two employees they have working (one on the cash register, the other on the floor) cant keep up with keeping the place clean. I guess that helps keep the prices low, but seriously takes away from the enjoyment of shopping there... thus you get the kind of clientele that feel they can fight in public and carry on like children. Its a shame. Id go more often if it was more enjoyable and if I felt a little safer going there.
