This replacement for Meijer in the north end of Newark is welcome. They had a good assortment of product, everything from food to housewares to clothing. However, it was a little frustrating to navigate. I suppose that will come with familiarity, but my first impression was that it was chopped up and things were hard to find. Also, though they are open until 1:00 a.m. The fitting rooms close at 9:00 p.m. one of the associates told us pretty much everyone out on the floor goes home at 10 p.m. The Starbucks is nice, as is the wine and beer tasting area. Im kind of surprised they didnt include a drive- thru at Starbucks since its at the side of the building. Maybe thats something for the future?

My husbands birthday was yesterday and I have been calling all over town looking for a red velvet cake with melted chocolate all over and nobody in town makes that cake. Its my husbands favorite cake and hes not a sweet tooth person. But I walked into Kroger yesterday and saw a cake similar to what I what I was looking for. I explained to the baker lady what I wanted and she said she could do it. Knowing that I needed it on the same day it was 9:30am she asked me when I could pick it up and I said around 4pm. I was so happy and greatful that she made it in a short period of time and its the best cake that we have ever ate. Delicious! Thank you so much!

Kroger replaced the old Rep drive location with this newly built store. Its very very nice inside, mid range clothing for sale and some home furnishings. The store itself is always very clean and has very friendly staff (I mean its Kroger, what else would it be nut clean and friendly?) The new pharmacy has a double drive through. Its a very big pharmacy, has as many technicians as can be safely kept back there and every register is staffed; they do their very best to get folks in and out! Wait time never exceeds 10 minutes to be checked out. My Rxs are already done when I come through. Staff is exceptionally friendly.

I move out of town, and they get the most awesome Kroger in the state. Super clean, super friendly staff, and the best selection of any Kroger Ive ever been to. I was even able to find clothes there - Ive got a number of compliments, and people are surprised to find out I got clothes at Kroger. This place is an experience - I always try to go when I am in town. The only place in Newark you can get some decent Starbucks too. If you think youve been to a good Kroger marketplace - check this out.

Did the click list. Went to pick up and was told I couldnt pay cash. I came home, called the sore, and after 3 phone calls they delivered my groceries. I have a totally rotten bag of lettuce and all my oranges are shriveled up! If u r going to have kids pulling groceries, u need to teach them not to put rotten produce in the bag!!!!! U just list a customer. Im going to giant eagle from here on out. What a nightmare.

If people see this review on Kroger and riff me Im going to scream. This is genuinely the most well kempt, well organized, and most inclusive Kroger Ive ever been to. The variety of high quality products provided is satisfactory and their services span from restaurants, to the bakery, to a sushi place, etc. Youll find everything you need and more.

Convenient location, bigger and better building than the old one. Its more updated, so its very clean and spacious. It was fun to shop here, but the produce is always an issue at most Krogers it seems. It doesnt seem very fresh half the time and goes bad quicker. Prices are comparable to other major stores...sometimes better, sometimes not.

Everyone is so nice and helpful. The deli is great and offers just about anything you want from fresh salads and sides and a salad bar to sushi. The sushi is made fresh by a sushi chef. We sat out on a the patio or theres plenty of room inside. Just pleasant all around.. We forgot we at a grocery store just waiting for a prescription.

I decided to eat lunch here today. For a small soup and salad l paid almost $11.00 because the signs displaying the cost of both were incorrect. As l was leaving, l asked if the cupcakes at the sample station were able too be tried. I was told the price of them and that only one sample was allowed per guest.

This is just a great grocery store. There is a large selection of fresh vegetables, a big cheese selection and nice breads in their bakery. The grab and go food is fine, especially the Chinese food. All in all the store is clean, the staff is friendly and the prices are competitive.

Much nicer than any of the other grocery stores in the area. The store is big enough it doesnt feel crowded, even if the parking lot is full. Plenty of cashiers are available so checkout is not a painful process like most grocery stores.

ZigyStar Sting

Its a new Kroger location and the layout tries to imitate more modern grocery stores like Whole Foods. Really nice selection of fresh produce and meats. They also have some specialty items you dont normally find in a smaller town.

Stopped here during a trip just to stretch our legs and use the restroom. The store and restrooms were clean. Kroger carries boardgames and art activities, unlike our Pittsburgh grocery stores. This store also sells alcohol.

very appealing look. Pretty easy to navigate. I hope they will keep staff on hand to answer questions. It was nice not having to hunt someone down. I love all the fresh foods offered. I may not need any other store!

This grocery store has a bar inside! Right next to the State Liquor Store, also inside! Everything about this store (except their clothing dept) is kicked up like 10 notches!!! Its not your Mommas Kroger!

By far my favorite Kroger. Love the layout and all they have to offer with more then just food. Cant wait to try their delivery service. Still go to Wal-Mart for a few things but prefer to go here.

This newly built Kroger has an excellent selection and even some great unexpected items in the marketplace. The pizza is amazing and the staff is very helpful. Great addition to Newark!

I can get in and out in a breeze even when its busy thanks to self checkout. Prices are often better than competitors and perks are worth while. Staff if friendly and good spirited.

The adult beverages are a great buy plus theres a bar. $1.50 imports, happy hours 5-7 Tuesday $3 mimosas Sunday. Friday wine and food pairings only $15. Even a band on Friday night

Great Store! Not as cheap as Walmart but I would rather shop here any day because of the updated and just nicer look to the place. They also have many more products than Walmart.

Fabulous grocery selection. If you go for one or two items you better select a large grocery cart because you will find numerous items you have to have. Luv shopping there.
