When we first moved to Ohio (in 2007), the previous owners of our home told us about T.C. Market. They said the store was not much to look at, but had a real butcher shop with fresh meat. True to their word, the market was not much to look at. The inside of the store reminded me of the family-owned store where I grew up in a small town in California. We buy all of our meat from T.C. Market and only go to Krogers for packaged goods, produce, etc. I highly recommend T.C. Market.

Stopped in here for the first, and last, time this past weekend and litterally gagged from the awful stench that greeted me in the store. Nasty, dead-animal reek was everywhere. Other shoppers behaved like it was the norm for this place to stink and went on shopping. They were even buying raw meat at the meat counter with this foul odor hanging in the air (yuck!). Dirty floors and walls and dingy isles. Very high prices and the stench of death will keep me from ever returning here.

This place does smell like a butcher shop and the person who wrote that awful review several years ago has probably never been in a real one. The selection of fresh hand cut meats is excellent and you cannot buy fresher chicken. They carry whole Falter (Columbus, OH) hams which are awesome and even have a homemade bake shop in the back. Oh, and do not forget the bacon... yummy.

We drive Crome Lancaster to TC Market each week for our meat. The meat is fresh and reasonable in price. At times we have order meat by bulk and Shawn treats us like family not just a customer. You have questions on anything they are always willing th help.

Great privately owned grocery. They have a little of everything, but the highlight is there awesome meat selection that is all procceased on site and the delicious bakery. If they would renovate Im confident it will help retain and draw in more customers.

A great hometown market. A store that is the way its supposed to be. There meat Dept. Is tops, fresh cut quality meat. thank God there are still places like this in our area. Use them and keep them in business before yet another Walmart is built .
