Ive been there plenty of times. Im not going to lie about the cigar selection, cartons, tubes, etc. Everything is there, except service. At first the elder man was quite nice. After a while, I realized he wasnt helping me find cigars and was rather looking right over my shoulder. The last time I paid the shop a visit, I took my jacket off hoping for a better experience. All was well at first until I brought up how uneasy I felt with his eyes all over me. He had the nerve to claim I have a guilty conscience, implying Im a thief (Ive paid for everything and even had enjoyable experiences in the past). I told him that is no way to treat paying customers and he told me to leave the store, which I did. He will never get my business again. DISGUSTING!

The Humidor, in Newark, Ohio provides a pleasant cigar experience in terms of layout, comfort, selection, price, cleanliness and overall atmosphere. Ive been smoking cigars (and pipe) for twenty (20) years, and this family-owned shop is one of the best in regards to selection. Whenever I need a recommendation on a new cigar, the proprietor of the store walks me into his humidor and gives me a fact-based selection that keeps me coming back (since 1999).

I finally got to go to the Humidor the other day (I live about an hour away) and it was well worth the drive. Their walk-in humidor is enormous, and very well stocked. Contrary to the previous review, they keep their cigars at just the right humidity, and all 6 cigars I bought were in great shape. The customer service was just as nice as the selection of cigars, and the proprietor was extremely knowledgeable and personable.
