I attended this stores prerelease on 7/11 since I was in town for a friends wedding. The players were extremely friendly and the staff ran a tight event, I was very glad to participate. Prices were very competitive as well! So why two stars then? A couple highlights: Virtually zero play space. I dont mean, "players" were cramped. The location is, in fact, one of the larger collectible shops Ive been in...and every table is covered in comic books. Thats right, the location has tables everywhere...covered in boxes of old comic books. Players play on top of display cases which and in decent supply...with no chairs. When I inquired about the event I was told on the phone that "...it will take pretty much all day, maybe 7 or 8 hours." I questioned some of the players and they said they play multiple times a week with no sitting space. I recently injured my back and work and this was not healthy for me even if I wasnt hurt. Given the well kept inventory, regular schedule and great player base, I have to assume that Magic/games are a decent portion of this places revenue...so invest in them. Im not a fool. I have no idea how the finances of the location work, maybe they pull in way more from comics than games. Given the Lancasters location though, I highly doubt it. TL;DR - reorganize your stock, give space to the people spending time and money in your store every week. Seems simple. Im not writing this to bash anyone, in fact, the only reason Im bothering is because I could tell a lot of care and heart is in the place and I hope they see this and actually improve. If I thought it was a crappy location I wouldnt even bother knowing they wouldnt care. I truly hope to visit again some day and take a seat for some great games.

I called and asked if they had silver age comics in back stock because I was driving in from Columbus. I was told yes they did. Again, I called them first. So I drove about 35 miles to get there (it took about 45 minutes with the lane closures on US Route 33). And guess what? The guy I talked to by phone tells me it had all been "moved to the Circleville store" and pointed out what they did have in stock........which was NOTHING in silver age comics, DC or Marvel. Then he apologized over and over. Really? So you didnt bother to check when I called even though I told you I was driving there from Columbus to Lancaster. How thoughtful? Anyway, I wont be back there and I wont bother driving out to the Circleville store either. Not ever. From my quick glance over the bronze age to current stuff they did have in stock it seemed overpriced too. Ill stick with the Columbus area comic book stores I buy from. Better prices and they actually have the things in stock I CALLED YOU ABOUT FIRST AND YOU TOLD ME YOU HAD. By the way, Im going to highly recommend Capital City Comics in Reynoldsburg (a big time thumbs up to the super friendly owner Tony) and Worlds Greatest Comics in Westerville. In The Ball Park struck out on 3 pitches.

Dont ever come here if you have a service animal of any kind! A friend of mine is partially blind and went in with her guide dog and got kicked out because the owner thinks that hes somehow above federal law. He screamed and yelled at her and wouldnt even let her finish what she was saying without interrupting her. She was very polite and told him what he was doing is illegal and even gave him a card with the ADA laws on it but he still refused to listen. All in all, they might have a nice selection of things but the owner is an extremely horrible human being who thinks he has the right to determine what federal law is.

Ive gone to this store for years for comic pulls and collectibles. If they dont have something you want, just ask and they will work to get it.
