Good selection of items, but their communication and customer service leaves much to be desired. A word of warning - do not sign up for any of their classes. I signed up for three. The first one they canceled on me a few days before the class. Since I was the only one who signed up, of course they couldnt teach me (or better yet set the course rate at a price they could accept if only one person signs up). I was only able to get a partial refund on all the supplies I bought (sewing class, so it was a lot). The second one was mediocre. $40 for a knitting 102 class where the "instructor" didnt teach much. The very simple pattern could be explained in a matter of minutes, but instead took three hours to go over, didnt listen, couldnt answer any of my basic questions (how to calculate guage, etc.), spent most of the class either chatting about her life or paying more attention to her own knitting than ours, and tried to sell us her weeks long knitting course at the end. The third one the teacher canceled without letting anyone know about it. I was able to get a full refund after almost an hour. Finally, I signed up for a gingerbread decorating contest. The flyer told me the times and to see a team member for details. It also said it was sponsored by Wilton. The guest services didnt know anything about the contest, but took my details and said they would call me with everything I need to know. They didnt. When I got to the store, there was a sign on the door which was just a blown up version of the flyer. When I went to the table inside, however, there was a sign saying contestants need to bring "supplies and an undecorated gingerbread item". This is 1) not what sponsored by means and 2) pretty important information which should have been made clear upfront. Not to worry, though, the store was offering one whole dollar off the kits (supplies sold separately, of course). Needless to say, Im done with this store. They do run regular sales, but you can get almost everything they sell at Michaels, Hobby Lobby and other stores for a similar and sometimes lower price. They do have a larger selection of fabric than most, but you can get that elsewhere, too. It is just not worth the aggravation anymore.

After half of the items I was looking for were out of stock, I went to the register with my few items. The line was backed up into the main front aisle. After 15 minutes, I want even halfway through line. There were 2 registers open, and the slowest cashiers Ive ever seen. No manager to be seen. I left my basket and walked out. What a waste of time. Went accepts the street to Michaels and ended up paying less, in and out, with all the items I needed.

OK, let me say first that I hate giving a bad review, because I know generally speaking the people who work in retail have a lot to do and dont get paid enough. But for heavens sake, Jo-Ann management, you really cant put enough people on so that a customer can find someone in the store? Good luck trying to get any help. Every trip in there for some small bit of fabric kills an hour, because the line at the fabric counter is so long.

I asked for 2 yards of fabric that cost $18.00 a yard. The clerk sold me 4 yards of fabric. This was at a store in Columbus, Ohio. I live 3 hours away in Niles, Ohio. I cut the fabric in half and began sewing. Later in the day when I went to the store to return the 2 unwanted yards, they said that since I cut the fabric I needed to return it to the store that was 3 hours away in Columbus. I think that was ridiculous.

Bathrooms are pretty nasty - stains on wall, dirty floors, out of paper towels. Also there is almost always a really long line to get fabric cut and then the register line is just as bad. Could just be the times I am available to go, but this is a common issue as I visit fairly often to get fabric for home projects/gifts. Good store if you plan to spend a lot of time there and dont use the restrooms!

I had an exceptional experience at this store. We drive up from the far south end of Columbus just to come here when we are looking for something different. Selection of fabrics is great, personnel was very helpful. The associate who cut my fabrics even looked up this weeks coupon for me. Nice helpful staff and good experience.

とりあえず何でも揃う感じで助かります。 でも土日だと待ち時間がかなりあります。 クーポンもよく出しているので、サイトをチェックしてから行くとお得です(*^^*)

This store is large and usually has things I am looking for. Sometimes the registers are backed up but no worse than Target or WalMart. During their massive sales they should open more registers and add more staff at the cutting table, but all in all its a very useful store for my business and artwork.

This is a big Jo-Anns - it has just about anything you would need for crafting or sewing, so kind of a one-stop-shop for me. The fabric cutting lines are long, so you might want to pick out your fabrics first, get a number, and then go do some other shopping for 10-15 minutes...

If you need fabrics, this is the place to go. However, that being said, it is truly disorganized and unappealing to the eye. My wife has come here for many years and has seen it slowly disintegrate. Pricing is fair, but always understaffed.

Good fabric selection... there was a wait to have fabric cut... the person called out a number, however, it was not exactly clear that there was a ticket system in place. There was a short line and a long wait. Only two registers were open.

If you can imagine it, its probably in the store somewhere. The staff is very helpful, and the everything runs smoothly. Some customers make checkout take forever, but thats just stupid people and not jo-anns fault.

This place needs a facelift bad. The shelving looks like its never been replaced and several of the shelves are empty. I couldnt find anything and they trash the whole front of the store with discount junk.

Help is sometimes hard to find, but knowledgeable and friendly if you can corral someone. Pretty good variety of fabrics and craft products. Tons of decorating stuff for the home.

I love the selection, the employees, but hate the lines. There never seems to be enough staff and the staff available try as hard as they can; but, seem to be over worked.

Fabric shopping is one of the best ways to make me happy. Jo-Ann Fabrics has a nice selection and they always have everything for the rest of my arts and crafts needs!

Prices are very high if you do not buy sale items. It is a game to find what you want on sale. Using a cell phone coupon helps.
