My family has been wanting to add a new member to our family so we have been looking on pound websites and online breeders for the one that we just had to have. We decided to go to Fetch in the Dayton Mall. I expected it to be pricey, so I was not surprised. My husband and I along with our four children looked in the windows at the beautiful puppies they had. Their cages are very well kept, and the animals looked very healthy and happily awaiting for their new home. We were originally wanting a golden retriever, but they were too young to go home with anyone...and quite frankly I did not want to shell out 800.00 on a dog. So we spotted this beautiful male Australian Shepherd. He was calm and just chillin in the window. So we asked to see him. We went into our little booth with all four kids to see how he would behave around them. He happily ran to each one of them giving them kisses...and after my husband heard the giggles from the kids he knew that he was the one. The kids on their own while playing with the pup agreed on a name before we even left the store. Our new family members name is Oreo, which fits him perfectly considering he is mostly black with a little white. He was 499.00 but they had a special on all dogs that day for 100.00 off. So not too bad considering he is full-blooded, and you would not pay much less than that from a breeder. Besides....pet stores like any other store is out to make a profit right? Another good thing about it is that as long as you get him a check up withing 7 days there is a 3 year limited warranty. He also came along with a shot record to take to the vet. The girl who took care of us was very curteous, proffessional, and informative. The only thing I would recommend this store to do is to give a voucher to get the dog spaded/neutered for free. Thanks Fetch...we love our Oreo!

We got our Beagle Lucie there last week. My husband, Jerry and I had an incredible experience, and the workers were very kind. They were great working with us on the easy installment payments. She is the most beautiful tempered pup. She did have worms, but Fetch did say they would reimburse us for the treatment. We try to go buy the adopt dont shop, however, these shelters anymore seem to only care about money, as I have seen many shelters adopting out their dogs for $200 or more. Not to mention, they seem to want to do home inspections quite often and make sure that you comply with what THEY want for the duration of the dogs life. So if you dont have that fenced in backyard they all seem so desperately for EVERYBODY to have, its a need not apply (trust me.... we tried). Fetch worked out great for us. We got our beautiful little girl and we love her to pieces. Would go there in a heartbeat and buy another. I am so very sorry for all that had a bad experience, but I just had to write on here that we got a beautifully tempered , healthy, and happy pup. I understand youre really rolling the dice on getting a puppy mill dog. However, these little dogs do deserve to go to a good home too, as they cant help where they come from or where they go to. Be it in a shelter, homeless, or pet store. I hope this helps out.

I really dont understand what most people are complaining about at this location. I have had nothing but good experiences. Yes, the dogs do come from breeders and adoption programs are great but theyve gotten costly (At least in N. Ky) and sometimes the dog is a couple of months old or has a mix that you arent willing to take in. If you want a puppy, a pet store or breeder is about the only way to go. All dogs have gotten costly in general, however, we drove from N. Ky to this store because they have a check payment plan where you only put 25% down. (they do charge a $50 convenience fee for this). The staff was wonderful and friendly. Every single associate working there helped us and engaged with us. When I liked one dog that was out of my budget, they lead us to some other options. My family has bought two previous dogs from Fetch and neither one has had significant problems. I was also very glad that they inoculate against kennel cough. The staff knew what dogs had been out the most that day and seemed very knowledgable about the schedule of when the dogs are fed, played with, bathed, etc. Yes, its a pet store but if youre looking for a friendly pet store, I really cant say enough good things about this location.

Yesterday my very good friend had to put down her dog of fifteen years, so to brighten her spirits we decided to visit your store today. Being so close to the holiday season, we understand the stresses your employees are under. Unfortunately, one of them took it out on us when we asked to look at a new Bulldog puppy. Not only was she unhelpful, but she was extremely rude, telling us that we "have no business being here until after Christmas" since we simply wanted to look at one. After telling us this, she promptly stormed off, not even paying attention to the fact that we were considering getting another dog in the future here. Had shed known the situation or not, it has definitely deterred us from ever coming back here again. I apologize that your heartless employee has caused you to lose business not only with us, but with the rest of our friends, families, and other members of the community.

Went in to look at a puppy yesterday and found a Australian Sheppard we liked and the employee helping us told us 3 different times that he was AKC certified and that we would get his paperwork in the mail. Purchased the dog for $1600 which is twice as much as an AKC certified Aussie normally goes for which I knew but he was too cute. So already they ripped us off on the price but thats fine. Called back today to get more info that I forgot and the lady I spoke with informed me he is NOT AKC certified and that hes ACA certified which makes home worse WAY LESS than if he was AKC certified. We were lied to and ripped off and now we might not even be able to get him registered at all. Complete rip off and wrong on their end. Called them and they basically said oops sorry and could care less about doing anything about it whether it be a big discount on price or anything. Dont trust them!!

Went in to look at dogs. All of the tiny cages had multiple dogs in them. Large dogs...St Bernard and another large breed were in top cages where they couldnt even stand up all the way. There was asign one of the cages with a pair of schnauzers that said they needed play time..clearly they needed a break from the cage...barking and jumping on the glass and running in circles.... asked if we could get them out... only if we pay 1$. Had no cash on me. They didnt take cards. Since I want buying them.... they were not allowed out. Very sad situation these dogs are in. No one should buy dogs from this place....shut them down. Its just cruel. They charge double what a reputable breeder would and their is NO BENEFIT TO THE DOGS. They cages floors are basically chain link. The dogs try to all huddle on the tiny blankets they put in the cages in a sad attempt to be comfortable.
