The facility itself is nice. What bothered me is that we came in and were told theyd be with us in a minute. We sat, and the whole time, didnt realize we were waiting for someone from the back to come put the jewelry in. So while were sitting there watching the two other employees chat, it looked like they were ignoring us. They should explain that there are specific people that would be helping us instead of just letting us sit there. A simple, "were waiting on (so and so) in the back to come put in your jewelry" wouldve made things more clear and not given us the feeling that we were being ignored. **UPDATE** After I got the owners feedback, I thought, what a professional. So I went back to get nipple jewelry thinking, I want to support a place that cares about there customers. But what I got was A RIDICULOUS price on the jewelry. He told me $375?!???!! Ok fine, there hand set and titanium. So I asked if they had something cheaper. He pulls out a display and proceeds to tell me that hell have to "put one together" and explained that I would still be paying close to $100. Is this for real? Do you know how many places around Columbus sell nipple rings at a reasonable price? Im VERY DISAPPOINTED to see that you guys think its ok to not carry anything even remotely within normal price for nipple rings. FURTHER UPDATE* I was at Comfest and spoke to Dave K. What a great guy and someone who truly cares about his customers. He genuinely apologized for the treatment and took care of me when I came in, replaced my jewelry and really made me feel valued as a paying customer. Because of this, and because he EXPLAINED why the quality jewelry carries the price it does, I will continue my business with Evolved. Dave and his staff that are involved with the actual work (meaning not just the people who work the front) are great people and care about their guests return business. Im not saying everyone that works the front lacks this appreciation, but I am saying certain individuals could take a look at how their approach could be improved.

Awesome Experience! I am 41 years old and an extreme chicken at heart. I decided to go outside my comfort zone and get my first Tattoo a couple days ago. When I entered the shop I was immediately greeted with a smile. The shop was really nice and not intimidating. There was a lot going on, people walking around etc. It wasnt overwhelming but I didnt feel like all eyes were on me. While I waited to speak with Lacey my tattoo artist, literally everyone that walked past me, and there were a lot, smiled at me and asked if I needed anything. The clientele that came in while I was there was very diverse which I can appreciate; all ages, colors, etc. My point being I didnt feel out of place at all, a 41 year old in the heart of a college campus. My tattoo artist Lacey was amazing. I explained to her how nervous I was and she did everything she could to calm me down; talked to me, offered me water, etc. Before the tattoo began, Lacey explained everything to me. She made sure to show me how sterile everything was, and showed me the unopened packages of equipment she was going to be using on me. She constantly reassured me that if there was anything I didnt like or wanted to change to let her know, that she was perfectly fine with it and just wanted to make me happy. She was not arrogant at all! She was very professional, yet laid back and easy to talk to. I was worried I would feel like an idiot going into this, not knowing anything about tattoos and I was never once made to feel that way. Laceys work was amazing. I was very satisfied/ ecstatic!!! When she was done she took time to go over aftercare with me. Actually more than once because it was kind of hard to focus with all of my excitement. Haha. The price was very reasonable also!!! I would definitely recommend Evolved and Lacey to anyone!!! And for those of you wondering if was not really painful at all. Felt more like scratches then needle pricks :)

Okay so I figured Ive gone here enough times to write them a review. Ive been to both the one with the huge green evolved sign in front and the one thats upstairs next to insomnia cookies. I got my first 5 tattoos with evolved. I loved all of them. They all came out just like I wanted and only one is faded (But they said I could come back and get it touched up for free!) Anyway, the problem I have with the tattoos are the prices. It was the only place I went to so I didnt know if their prices were good or bad until I went to a similar experience (cleanliness, professionalism, design, etc) and it was so much cheaper! I think their prices are steep. I probably wont go again because of that alone. The artists however have always been friendly to me and gave me great service. They answer all my questions etc. I also got my tongue pierced there twice. the first time was perfectly fine, it healed fine but I took it out and it closed so I went back. This time I got a different piercer. It was ten times more painful (the first time didnt hurt at all!) and it felt really awkward in my tongue! I took it out before it healed and after a couple months got it repierced somewhere else. It was MUCH BETTER! So I probably wouldnt recommend getting your tongue pierced there. Overall the place is clean and friendly and they do their job well but its too expensive. The next time I go would probably only be the two piercings on thursday for the price of one...Oh and the only negative thing Ive experienced besides price is that one of the artists refused to tattoo my hand because I didnt have like 70% body coverage of tattoos. Its My body, I should be able to get tattoos wherever I want without your input, Im the one wholl live with the consequences, not you.
