I’ve been consistently impressed with the knowledgeable service from this local business. Not only is the store owner personable, but he’s gone out of his way to follow up when they have new toys similar to what I collect in stock. I often see Star Pop’s owner out in the neighborhood and it seems the store stays active in promoting the independent community as a whole with a commitment to the growing Waterloo Arts neighborhood. I was particularly impressed by the store going above and beyond and organizing an art show based around the idea of sustainability. Star Pop really shines in showing how the love of toys, commitment to upcycling, and buying local can work together. Really a gem for toy lovers of all ages

Super cool place! My first stop locally for vintage action figures. Ive been collecting Transformers for over 15 years and I was amazed by the knowledge that the store owner, Troy had. Not only on those, but on everything in his place. My friend and I stayed for over 2 hours talking shop and it felt more like visiting a friend than a shopping experience. In the end, we both left with a nice handful of goodies. Speaking of, prices are super fair here. Ive been to vintage stores with inflated pricing and it makes me leave empty handed. Youll find it here and it will be priced right!

This guy is never there!! Staggered hours!! You have to call there to see if they are open or he will meet you there at a certain time!! WTF kind of business does that to customers!! Wasted drives down there during business hours only to see a CLOSED STORE!!
