I was working on my computer when a window ( which covered the whole screen ) popped up and blocked everything I was working on. it prompted me to call them immediately or I would lose all my files, etc.,etc. it told me not to turn off the computer or I would lose all my files. they leave you feeling extremely vulnerable. assuming it was a scam, I turned off my computer as well as unplugged it. I turned it back on and shortly after I started working on it again, the same window popped up and ( pretty much ) left me hopeless. as it turned out, I ended up owing them $359.95 in order to correct it. I have not paid them yet, and realistically do not have the extra money in my budget to do so. they took a picture of my check which was only partially written, and was not signed. I am concerned as to the ramifications that might take place if I dont pay them. what would they do to get back into my computer and mess it up for good. by the way I had just gotten the computer back from the manufactures repair shop and was not having any problems with it ( at the time ). I would love some legal advice to help me determine what my rights are. they took about five hours to supposedly fix it.

Yes I had the same problem as those mentioned above. I had just moved and got a new internet service. As soon as I connected the new service to my computer and turned it on, up popped a pop-up with their number saying that if I did not call and have it fixed my internet subscription would be permanently suspended. I called and the tech showed me (supposedly) where I had a virus on my computer. Just as the others said above tell make you feel rather intimidated about the situation. Not being tech savvy I agreed to pay $250.00 to have my computer fixed and their service for a year. As mentioned above, I wonder if this is a scam or not. If they were able to make the pop-up appear, then maybe they are the ones that produced the virus? Sounds like they are preying on the unsuspected that do not really know anything about computers.

These are computers hackers and scams!! They infected my laptop with worst kind of viruses Ive never heard of then convinced me to pay for annual maintenance and to fix my laptop, they accessed my own bank account and stole my money! be careful from these cheaters and shut your laptop immediately once similar viruses messages pop up into your screen, they are SCAMS and make you believe they are affiliating with Microsoft, they are dangerous hackers located in India not United States.

Repair All PC is also known as I Fix PC 247, Techers 247, Fix PC Connect Fix PC. They infect your computer, they are NOT located in Cleveland they are in India and are Telemarketers. If you gave them access to your computer you better erase all your programs and change your passwords including your Microsoft password and email account. They will try to pull out all your personal information, your bank account will be damaged as it was mine.

This is a scam company that is claiming to be affiliated with Microsoft and gains access to your computer, then asked for your bank information. If you are contacted by these individuals, please report them to the Federal Trade Commission; they prey on older people and are completely fraudulent.

These people are scammers. They also use the name I FIX PC 247, TECHERS 247. If you search for adobe tech support you end up with this company. These companies are all linked, and if you do a search you will find out about their scam.
