SCAMMERS!!! Buyer Beware! I would choose no stars if it would let me. Purchased an AS-IS (I know, Facepalm) vehicle so I expected some issues in the near future but I made the mistake of trusting that they were honest and looked the vehicle over. The car may have been cheap but it didnt even last 24 hours before the transmission went. I had to drive the vehicle home in reverse (how embarrassing). Luckily, I know a Honda certified mechanic. I had him look at the transmission and he verified it was completely shot. He said he would be VERY surprised if they did not know this transmission was bad. 1. Because the fluid had been changed. He said the previous fluid was probably black and thats why they changed it. Knowing if someone were to come look at the vehicle they would check the fluids and know there were transmission issues. 2. He said the code had been cleared. He knows this because it came back on within 24 hours. The vehicle has to cycle so many times before the code will kick back on. Basically resetting the check engine light was enough to get that AS-IS vehicle off the lot and "legally" out of their hands. Apparently there is zero protection for buyers of AS-IS vehicles. Once it is off the lot it is YOUR problem. They knew what they were doing. I just wonder how many others have had to go through this with them. But I digress. I called back and spoke with the son, Tyler, who was (to put it nicely) less than pleasant. He was told the circumstances and said there was nothing he could do and would talk to his father. Never received that call back. Called back again and his father said the vehicle is AS-IS. When I pleaded my case, that it was less than 24 hours, he offered to install the transmission if I purchased one myself and paid for the tow. But made clear that after that he was washing his hands of it. I wasnt really happy with that deal but he wouldnt bend. I purchased a used one the next day and tried to get a hold of the father again. He has been missing ever since. I keep leaving voicemails but no response. His son, Tyler, just keeps saying he is out of town and to call back. Well I keep calling back on the days he is supposed to return, but guess what, I am forced to leave a message. Rinse repeat. So now after 2 weeks I finally have the transmission in. Unfortunately, it is not because they installed it. I couldnt wait any longer so I had to pay to have it installed by someone else. I am sure they will be happy to know that I am out of their hair but I will be damned if this story isnt heard to, at a minimum, warn even a single person from EVER shopping there. I am also in contact with the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint and see if there is anything else I can do. So once again, I cannot stress enough, LET THE BUYER BEWARE. Because they are as pleasant as can be until you hand them money and sign all the paperwork and drive away. I dont know the family but they love to advertise the fact they are family owned and operated. Apparently bad customer service and lack of morals run in their family. If they respond to this it will be more contact than I have had from them in 2 weeks. Too little too late. And in case I didnt say it already, LET THE BUYER BEWARE!!!

We went there to test out a newer car they had listed (little over 3yrs old and less than 50,000 miles on it). As soon as we arrived was greeted and told them which one we was looking at. Then asked how would we be paying cash (which they prefer) or financing. Said financing then asked where we lived (over hr 1/2 away) and said they only finance to this and 2 counties by them. We could go through broker but fees would apply (didnt tell us how much or know how much be) and then said we would have to go through our bank. Part our fault for not asking but on website says "we finance everyone". Then go to test drive tire was low (which they did put air in), checked oil was dirty and low (although car fax said was changed in December and then was put for sale about 25 miles difference on odometer between then and now). Then went to go for drive and could tell was sitting for awhile because didnt want to move at first. The price seemed to good to be true and was. They said lowered price because theyve had for a while and now we understand why. If oil was not maintained we wondered what else wasnt and to big of chance for that much money and then have to put more into it. Plus door handle was cracked and rim (plastic was cracked) plus car smelled and had cigarette holes in the seats, didnt look like was cleaned since pictures were taken of it (understand it is a used car and you do need to expect some imperfections). There was another person test driving same day and the cars battery died when came back from test drive. My wife emailed them and asked a few questions before we went up to see it but after she asked about price negotiation, mentioned the lowered price and what it was worth and asked what we was looking for, so far has not heard back and has been a few days. We understand used car and are taking a chance maybe we just looked at a bad one or bad example on their lot. They were friendly but needless to say most likely not taking another trip up there.

My son purchased a car 5-6 months ago. He loves his Escape and they really are honest family run business. They treated him with respect for a teenager. I went on for my other college son as he is now looking for a vehicle and I told him to check out 440 first. It is a drive as we live in Aurora but really felt like they treated us like he was their own Son that was buying with his hard earned money. Thanks and we will keep referring!!!

Buyer Beware. Worst dealership ive ever encountered. I tried to buy a car there and they lied about the condition of the vehicle. They also over priced the vehicle and tried to take advantage of me. There was very little help since they are understaffed as well as lazy. My experience with them was horrible. The were very rude and have little sales skills. Ill be taking my business to right way auto sales not to far from there.

I bought a car from them and the very next day with less than 10 miles driven the check engine light lit. I was new in town and they didnt help me at all, not even by recommending a mechanic. I wont buy from them never again nor would I recommend them to anyone else. I had to replace the catalytic converter and a big chunk of the exhaust pipe for almost $600.

Friendly staff. Very firm on prices but they prices are usually lower than what youd expect to find at other dealers. Prices that are listed and quoted are cash prices. If paying with a card expect to pay a little more. All cars are sold "as is" but they do offer warranties through third party agents that are affordable.
