Fiance and I purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee from this dealership, and feel as if we were bent over a barrel. We test drove the vehicle twice, and it drove and rode fine. There was some minor cosmetic issues with the vehicle, and that is fine that doesnt affect how it rides. During the deal making process it was agreed that some minor issues would be fixed whenever I could make it back down to the dealer ship. The following day the check engine light pops on. I take it to Advanced Auto to get the code read, and he informs me that its a stored code (meaning its old) and that it is for some emissions problems. At this point I call Vann Underwood Chrysler Jeep Dodge and express my concern, they then tell me when I bring the vehicle down for my appointment that they will address the issue. The following Thursday I bring the vehicle in to get the agreed upon work done (which they were only able to do one thing) along with get the check engine issues repaired. 4 hours later Im leaving thinking that everything is done. 2 days later check engine light comes back on, and it is the same code. Now I take the Jeep to a local dealership to have them figure out what is going on. They inform me that it is the Electronic Throttle Body, and will be $571.00 to replace, and they also state that this is an old issue. I call the dealership and speak with Robert Parker the service manager, and he informs me that there is nothing they can do for me. In short, do yourself a favor and spend a couple extra dollars on a vehicle from another dealership. Maybe you can find one where the company will stand behind their product.

I when on the lot looking for a Dodge Dart and drove the 2.0 litre stock version first and was less than impressed with the go power but before I left Shannon Mcmillian talked me into driving the Dart Rallye. It proved to be a massive upgrade over the stock version of the car. It is nice to know that people who work at this dealership is more concerned with making sure that the driver is happy in an vehicle instead of just selling any vehicle on the lot. It is nice to be something other that a number like at other lots I have been to in the past. I guess that is why I left with the second car I drove and still driving it. Did i mention that this one has 184 hp and still gets 33 mpg yea its great.

One of the only genuinely helpful and kind dealerships Ive ever been to - definitely recommend for repairs. I had to deal with a good number of Chrysler dealerships in SE NC, and most all of them tried very hard to overcharge me (and, impressively, my insurance company, which got so frustrated they recommended I go someplace else). This dealership was a pleasure to work with - their service department is friendly and courteous, finds the problem and only the problem, takes care of it for a relatively standard price, and bends over backwards to make sure that your car is drivable and to your specifications. I cant recommend them enough compared to other Chrysler dealerships.

Went shopping for a Jeep Grand Cherokee in Wilmington. The service was fine there, but they were unwilling to negotiate at all. Called up Underwood Jeep and Mr. Underwood as happy to have us. He was professional, courteous and bent over backwards for us, making sure we got just the right car for our needs. All of that and the prices were very reasonable, in my opinion. Very much worth the drive from Wilmington. I also loved purchasing from this family owned dealership. Always like to support local business. If you want to buy a car, consider this dealership.

We had a deal all ready to go, then found out the warranty they included was not going to be able to be included. Then they wanted to let us leave without a warranty or buy a 1 year one. We left. Later we contacted them again and wanted to buy the vehicle. By this time they had upped the price again. The next day, after we had made them another offer, they sold it to someone else. Oh, and the first day, they kept us there for over 5 hours. It was painful and we have very bad feelings. I would not recommend them.

Chris and Berry stayed late to accommodate our work schedules. Vann and Chris worked hard to find exactly what we wanted (some people are more picky than others). Chris went through every feature the vehicle offered taking his time so we understood all of them. Berry helped us to get the lowest payment possible. This was the best car buying experience that I have ever had! Everyone I dealt with was genuinely nice, and they were a pleasure to do business with. I have had several experiences with car buying that left a bad taste in my mouth, but the experience I had at Vann Underwood was awesome! Even though I live a few hours away, I will most definitely go to them for my next purchase, and I most certainly recommend them to anyone in the market for a vehicle.

Call twice to make appointment to get oil filter and oil change. Know one never answered the phone in the maintenance department, and the receptionist was know help when I explained what I needed. I told her that I would just have to go somewhere else, and she hung up on me. NOT Professional at all. I understand that the maintenance department is busy, but some could have got my number and called me back. I am not mad , or angry, am just disappointed.
