I love writing great reviews, however... I just had to post a review about my experience at this store. Upon arriving to the Waynesville Belk store and approaching the jewelry counter to have links taken from my mothers watch, as well as mine...the first individual was very rude and would not remove the links because she "didnt know how to do that." From there I was directed to the fine jewelry counter, after arriving there to see that there was one customer, I patiently waited in line. The lady that works the fine jewelry counter was/is EXTREMELY rude and would not help us...she stated that she "didnt have time for that." (Just a reminder that the watch was purchased from Belk) This was not the first unpleasant experience that I have had with the lady that works in the fine jewelry. I love shopping at this store, however I will not be purchasing any jewelry from this Belk any longer. Kindness goes a long way...

Ridiculously over priced, There kitchen aid mixer that was regularly $460 was onsale for $360. I went to bestbuy nextdoor and paid $267 for same mixer. To add to this the registers inside store are poorly mapped out, its like hide and seek to get checked out. Their clothes are usually marked double retail and when their having a (sale) they are still full-blown retail prices. When you put $100 tag on a $40 shirt its still a $40 shirt when its 50% off on sale its only a $20 shirt not a $50 shirt. I dont really need to find a register to check out in there I have enough sense not to be gouged when I shop.

I shop here often because of proximity. We tend to get merchandise from other areas that is on discount. Mens section if often disorganized, cramped and messy. While it is an upgrade from Walmart clothing it does not offer much dressy clothing for my body type (slim, below average height). Has room to improve. The womens section is excellent in comparison.

Belk always has great quality clothes. There are also frequent sales that makes for finding incredible deals. Designer handbags and clothes are available making Belk moderate to expensive to shop at. The employees are helpful and very courteous. Probably my favorite place to shop.

Bought a bottle of cologne that didnt "agree" with my skin, having some sort of reaction to it. Continuing to wear it wasnt an option. I went back (5 days later) without the box or receipt, Belk took it back without a question or a problem. I was pleasantly surprised.

Very nice department store. Great lighting gives it a nice open modern feel. Great variety of cologne and perfume. Nice selection of homewares such as bedding and cooking items. Great selection of top name brand clothing such as Nike, Under Armor, Columbia and many others.

Belk in Waynesville NC is looking like trash. Too much in store, clothing on floor, not enough sales people. We go into Asheville to shop now.
