I went here with my wife for lunch just because the name sounded French and we wanted to try something different. At first I was a little put off by the small selection of lunch entrees, but after eating the food I couldnt get over how good it was. The limited selection allows them to stock high quality ingredients and keep them extremely fresh. I know every local restaurant strives to have fresh ingredients, but I could tell as soon as I bit into the side salad it couldnt have been out of the ground more than 3 days. I ordered a sloppy joe that blew me away. The spices in the sandwich really popped and since the place is a bakery, the bun was incredibly soft, but made so it wouldnt get soggy from all the juices in the sandwich. My wife got their curry chicken salad which looked like it was over loaded with mustard, but instead was actually a rich blend of curry spices that made for a really cool innovative twist on the standard chicken salad. We shared a chestnut tart for dessert. This place has great lunch food, but their deserts will really be the star of your meal. I cant describe it, but if youve read this much just go try the chestnut tart.

I wanted to buy my husband a birthday cake that was different from the usual vanilla or chocolate cake. I decided to go with the chocolate truffle cake. I called and placed the order and it was ready in 2 hours which was great for a procrastinator like myself. When I went to pick it up I initially thought is was a bit pricey for the size but after eating the cake I definitely think its worth the money. I was rich and decadent and my husband loved it! I will purchase from Lecettegrace again!

Beautiful space, free wifi, nice folks behind the counter. But best of all, the desserts here are fantastic. Not every particular creation is world class, but thats normal for a creative chef whos trying out different combos. The peach poofy thing was one of the best desserts Ive had in my entire life: light, balanced, fresh, perfectly executed, and full of interesting textures. The macaroons are great, as are the cannelles. Hope this places stays open for a loooong time.

Baked goods are works of art, but are a little lighter to eat than they appear. Nothing seems over-sweet, which is a nice change for our southern city. Espresso style coffee is STRONG. Not sure of it is just me, but Id like more of a medium roast next time. Sipping caramel - great idea, but almost impossible to drink in reality as it is too rich and, unlike the baked goods, far too sweet. Go and visit - your waist will not thank you, but your taste buds will be happy.

I live downtown at pnc plaza, so i go by all the time, went in today to get something for my wife, 4 stars because she loved it! The missing star is for the snobby sounding guy who helped me in a very impersonnel tone and manner, uncomfortable feeling to his service like I wasnt welcome. I have a lot of tattoos so maybe thats why, but respect is everything. That one service experience despite the great pastry lost a potential customer, I live like 500 feet away...

Most amazing baked goods and pastries in town with the most helpful service in town. The treats flavors are exquisitely rich and glorious and their presentation and design is complex and enrapturing. They also have incredible coffee and interesting drinks and sodas to compliment the desserts as well as a savory breakfast abs lunch menu to boot! From macrons to baklava croissants to sweet potato soup to the inventive Dixie Cannonball. Best patisserie ever!

So many outstanding items - such a shame about the croissants. Ive been here several times and have been delighted by the Pastry case items, which are not only visually elegant, they are a delight to taste. The coffee is great, service is great, but sadly when trying the croissants and ham & cheese croissant, it is seriously over cooked, if not just simply burnt. All the delicacy and layers to the croissant are just wiped away.

Lucette Grace is very very good! I will definitely come again! The workers were very nice and the atmosphere is extremely relaxed & chic. I ordered the chicken curry salad croissant and the "Brooklyn" pastry for my Friday lunch and it was amazing! I always treat myself to lunch on Fridays, so as I said in the beginning, i will definitely come again!! Thanks Lucette Grace!

This mornings deliciousness was brought to you by Lucette Grace, a pastry shop on Salisbury street in downtown Raleigh. If you have not been, they are a must try. Some of the most exquisite treats created by extraordinarily talented pastry chefs. I enjoyed a Dixie Cannonball - cheddar biscuit with sausage gravy baked inside. Their sweets are works of art. Oh my goodness.

Wonderful coffee, but even better pastries! Everytine I come the selection is different and in the best way! Each dessert is extremely unique and tastes out of this world! You cant go wrong with any of them! Though they are pricier, for a good reason, it is totally worth it! Why not splurge on pure heaven! The staff is also patient and sweet, making each visit great!

Friendly staff who are happy to take you through their whole menu. The food has good presentation with great taste. I had their signature dish, the Dixie Canonball, an elevated version of the southern classic, biscuits and gravy. It was fantastic and I will certainly be stopping by for it again. Best breakfast pastries in Raleigh in my opinion.

Delicious! This is my go to spot for an afternoon pick me up or coffee meeting. I generally get a macaroon and cold brew coffee. Every flavor macaroon Ive had has been phenomenal. I havent tried the other food because Im a bring your lunch kind of girl. They have a wheelchair accessible entrance with a ramp to the right of the main entrance.

It was conveniently open on a Sunday afternoon. The display showcased wonderful desserts and bakery treats. The lunch menu was rather short, but it made up in variety of desserts. There isnt much seating and service was a tad slow. Nevertheless I did love the options, decor, and overall theme. Will return to try their Chai Latte.

Nice staff and great food & drink, 4 stars because my barista placed my debit card on the counter instead of handing it back to me. Also, there were nuts on my chocolate croissant, but the description omitted that information. They did give free water to a homeless man on a very hot day, so I would say that is very kind.

We came because some friends suggested getting one of the cakes. They warned us that it was expensive, but worth it. We tried the brownie. YES, it was expensive. But it only tasted just okay. Honestly, it wasnt as good as a nice, homemade, Ghirardelli box-mix brownie. So basically, its sadly a rip-off.

AMAZING! Just taste it! Interesting options without being weird. Well balanced flavour combinations, never overpowering and always the very best quality. Texture, flavour and presentation all wonderful. This is the only place where macaroons are actually good. Come here and never regret a calorie.

This place is hands down the best bakery in town. All the desserts are tasty and meticulously crafted. Macaroons are to die for! Lunch is a treat too. Yummy sandwiches and refreshing Lebanese sweet tea are my favorites. I stopped going to other local bakeries and just stick with Lucettegrace.
