Before I get into my complaint I just want to say, in general, the shop off of Hillsborough Street in Raleigh, NC will not last long. So I purchased an expensive water pipe from them and approximately 2 weeks after I bought it the downstem broke. I understand that pieces break so I went into this shop and attempted to buy a stem of the right size so that I could replace it. Unfortunately, I didnt the buy the right size initially. Then I was told by the manager Megan (sp.) that I could not have an exchange. Even though the stem was the wrong size and never had been used (obviously). Considering the big purchase and just human decency, I thought more would have been done. The manager insisted that I should have known the right size and when I explained that the original was shattered and could not have been measured, she still insisted that I did something wrong. Overall, the service provided from Megan was unpleasant and I am urging you to formally look into this as I have already put in a formal complaint through your website. I just wanted to post on here so others could read about my experience and choose against using you all.
