It is obvious they are now owed by Kroger. This store WAS my store that I went to for everything including online shopping. But that was before Kroger bought Harris Teeter. Harris Teeter now has the same customer service that Kroger has always had, which is terrible!!!! I have been ordering specialty cakes from this store several times a year for YEARS. Now they cant/wont do my specialty cakes. I called to place the order - no problem. They called me back ONE DAY BEFORE IT WAS DUE to tell me they could not do a superman logo due to copyright issues. Thats ok. I get it! I asked the decorator to use their best judgment and all I got on the phone was "ummm, ummm". I asked to speak to the manager. After waiting 10 minutes, the manager heard my complaint and sent me right back to the clueless cake decorator. This is NOT what I expect from a MANAGER!!!! By the way, Wal-Mart (of all places) did not have a single problem decorating my cake. And they even did it with one day notice!!!! I can see a clear decline in customer service, associate friendliness, and store cleanliness. Way to go Harris Teeter, you have lost a customer for life!!!!

They asked me if I wanted to donate money for the troops at the cashier. First of all, were spending 660 billion a year on the military, more than all other countries combined, half our tax dollars go to the military. But thats not enough is it? 2) what does "donate money for the troops" mean? For their medical care? For food? For weapons? Be specific. 3) I bet only a fraction of that money actually goes to troops. 4) Four million people in America are homeless, half the country is poor or live in poverty, no one has adequate medical care (only developed country in the world without universal healthcare), and people are drinking poisoned water from coast to coast in the richest country in the world. Until we can get clean water to Flint, Michigan, the troops wont get one penny from me.. and even then they wont. If 660 billion isnt enough then maybe we should re-think our foreign policy and sick military industrial complex dont you think? Harris Teeter should know better than feeding the war propaganda. Never shopping here again and neither will any of my family members

My experience at the Cameron Village Harris Teeter is always very good with the freshness and new product offerings gathered from other countries, states, and locally. The store is connected to the world as it serves its customers. But on a one-to-basis it also excels. The management of Bruce Woodle and his staff make it their mission to make your shopping experience a pleasure as they personally walk you to a product you need, or personalize flower arrangements making them "just right", keeping the store sparkling clean, asking if you found all products you came in to buy, suggesting the normally accepted seafood amount needed for a specified number of people, and always greeted with a smile. Today, having left a container of blueberries at the checkout, I was just outside the door when they were brought to me, saving me a ride back to the store to collect them. I appreciate their attention to detail.

Oh Teeter! Youre my favorite supermarket and right next door so I wish I could give you five stars but I cant. Solid assortment of veggies, produce, deli and seafood. Love your online club for discount specials, coupons and more. Your shelves are normally well-stocked and faced for easy shopping. And your customer service and registers are well-run. Where this Harris Teeter falls short is its CRAZY busy parking lot which feels like battle-parking. And tie in the premium prices and Teeters is definitely more about convenience and habit for me rather than saving money. Plus the store is starting to show its age from a design and merchandising perspective. But when youre this busy, who needs to freshen up? So I hope you continue to work for my business cause its not guaranteed...

Almost every time I come in another of my favorite items is no longer available. Tonight (8/13/15) the store looked like hundreds of items had been removed. Not one of the six items I specifically came in for was available. I understand the store brand concept, and appreciate the opportunity to save money - WHEN THE PRODUCT MEETS MY NEEDS. However, I dont appreciate my favorites being removed so that only the store brand version is available. I pass two other grocery stores on my way to Harris Teeter. I wont be passing them in the future, and I wont be shopping at Harris Teeter in the future. Im sure you wont miss me. I only spend between $150 and $200 a week at your store.

This place customer service is not what they say is it. They never have baggers, its always just two baggers and i always have to bag my own groceries. I been coming here for alot of years and it was good a the beginning but never outstanding. Tim todd the ex-manager was excellent. The up front manger TINA is rude and disrespectful. She has no heart towards her employees and customers. Only shop here if its not busy. And the parking here is ridiculous. I got my car hit one time cause of how crowded the parking is. If you have an suv or crossover do not park here it will be a hassle.

I usually go to this store for my grocery shopping. However, if there was a different Harris Teeter that was close by I would try it. The store itself is fine. It has everything Im looking for and is usually well-stocked. The parking is awful. I dont even try to go there when its daylight outside. There is really nowhere to park during that time. Im not sure what they are going to do when those two brand new apartment complexes go up right next to the store. I would imagine Ill have to go somewhere else at that point. Great store - beware of crowded parking lot!

Beth in the floral department was absolutely wonderful to work with while planning our wedding! The high quality of flowers and reasonable prices are unbeatable! Beths communication with us throughout the wedding planning process was tremendous. She was very prompt in returning phone calls and providing her expertise. Her level of professionalism and creativity are only a few reasons why I would highly recommend Beth at Harris Teeter at Cameron Village for any floral needs. We cannot thank her enough for providing us with BEAUTIFUL flowers for our wedding!!

My local HT, which is a quality store and has great proximity to the CV/Fivepoints/Glenwood South area. Though it lacks the features of the newer stores that have full-service bakeries, pizza, etc it does have a good beer selection. Another upside is the good-looking customer base... The HT on Glenwood might as well be an antique store, definitely make the effort to get to Oberlin. Only 4 stars because the parking situation is abysmal on a good day and apocalyptic on weekends.

Okay grocery store. Staff is usually friendly. Good selection of fruits and vegetables. They carry Boars Head deli meats, but not the whole line - and they dont carry what I want. They also dont carry the beer that I drink (an Anheuser-Busch product). This store is a bit on the pricey side and parking here is always difficult. This store is near my house so I shop here when I need something right now, but I do the majority of my grocery shopping somewhere else.
