Cafe Lachine and the entire staff are beyond amazing. I just got married in Carova last Friday and had begun working with the staff, specifically Tess & Johanna, to plan our wedding menu. Oh yea and Im vegan - and wanted to do the entire menu vegan as well to showcase how amazing this food can be when done right and because that is what I believe in. So not only was Johanna up for the challenge but she exceeded my expectations with how amazing the food was - and all my guests (carnivores mostly) raved about everything! They customized the entire menu to what my husband and I envisioned and it was wonderful. Not only was the food delicious, but their professionalism, enthusiasm about what they do and flexible are by far some of the best people I have ever worked with. Even a last minute change of moving dinner 30 minutes back (wanted to get some beautiful sunset pictures) was no problem and they adjusted accordingly with ease. We used their services as well for a bartender for the day of, and even with a demanding crowd of people she kept her cool and was prompt at making a variety of drinks. Both my husband and I would highly recommend anyone use their services - but especially if you are a vegan/vegetarian and looking for a catering company that is going to truly rock your guests tastebuds and be a pleasure to work with - go with Cafe Lachine!

I just returned from a two week event that Cafe Lachine catered and they did an unbelievable job. Johanna and her staff were great to work with and they managed the impossible feat of accommodating all our needs. We had a group of 40 people including vegans, vegetarians and some serious allergies. For both lunch and dinner they managed to create a menu of delicious, fresh food that everyone enjoyed. Every single person that we interacted with was professional, friendly and a joy to work with . Thank you Cafe Lachine for making our corporate retreat fantastic...we are all leaving Nags Head 5 pounds heavier and very very happy!

My family and I went to Cafe Lachine for brunch.The cafe has a pleasant atmosphere with a colorful chalk wall and a nice dining-in room. The menu is written on the wall and also can be read on a pamphlet for ease of reading. We got an array of food items and a mini key lime pie. All the items were fresh, healthy, and very tasty! Secondly, the meals were not very expensive, ranging from 7-10 dollars. They also have fast service! One thing I really liked was the bookshelf that contains a bunch of fun, healthy cooking foods. This place is vegetarian friendly. I will definitely go back if I have the chance.

Five STARS!! The Service was fantastic! The food was delicious! They worked with us to meet our budget. AND they worked with us to meet our numerous dietary needs! We had a company retreat in Nags Head with 37 people who had all kinds of dietary needs. We needed Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan options along with those meat-eater will eat anything types. Everyone was pleased!! I would highly recommend Cafe Lachine for your large group needs. They were absolutely fantastic to work with!!!

Stopped in for breakfast before heading back to VA. It took a while to get our food because one of the cooks didnt show up, but due to the wait the owners decided not to charge us. Very classy move. The other tables there got free meals as well. And the food and coffee were great! Extremely friendly staff. Thanks for the meal!!

Food is wonderful. We have enjoyed most of options now and everything is good. Servings are large. You can upgrade from potatoes to fruit. Both are delicious. Service is always good. We have never had to wait for a table which is surprising considering limited options for breakfast in nags Head.

Dropped in on a whim after an afternoon of exploring OB with our family and walked away very pleased. Thoughtful menu items, knowledgeable and friendly, articulate staff. Oh, and artesan type desserts. Lemon tart was crazy good. Key Lime tart excellent as well. Highly recommend this business.

There were only 2 waitresses working, and it took a long time for our waitress to get to us, (for ordering, serving, and picking up the check) but her hospitality and cheerfulness made up for it. The food was refreshing and what I had was made in-house. The atmosphere was nice, too.

Service here was absolutely wonderful. They also had great prices on lunch meals. Dessert selection was wonderful, they even gave us some samples of these awesome little chocolate espresso cups. Would recommend to anyone passing by or even in the general area!

This place is so good that I drove from Virginia Beach, Virginia just to eat here. The staff is friendly, the food is spot on and delicious, clean and well maintained. I will come here anytime Im in the area. This restaurant is well worth the visit.

Brewed coffee was very good, as well as mini cupcakes. The sandwiches were so-so, average even by OBX standards. Staff is friendly. Visited them a year later. The coffee is still great, turkey wraps were good staff is young and friendly. Nice place.

They catered our wedding and did an awesome job. They cooked the food on-site, it didnt sit in a hot box. Food was excellent. As a Chef and food and beverage person myself, I would highly recommend them and their team for your special function.

First time eating here and my boyfriend and I both loved it! We got crab eggs Benedict, biscuits and jam, and a crab, egg, and cheese sandwich and everything was so delicious! Great restaurant! Planning on going back to try the French toast!

They are open on Sundays. Had the chicken biscuit, was delicious! My husband had the French toast & Breakfast platter, which he enjoyed! Berry lemonade was also great! Great hidden breakfast & lunch spot in nags head.

Amazing food! Its a small little cafe in a strip mall but the food and service are great. They also do a lot of catering (their catering food is amazing too, book them for your wedding if you can!)

Amazing food and great service. Expect wait time during rush hour, but its worth it. Tried French toast, egg Benedict with crab cakes and shrimp with grits, which were absolutely delicious.
