Terrible.... Me and my fiance got a washer and dryer from rent a center @ 124 W Meadowview Rd Greensboro, North Carolina 27406. We had came on hard times shortly after we got the washer and dryer and asked if we can get an extension until thennext pay period but they said we didnt have the washer and dryer long enough to get an extension so we scraped up the money and paid it and paid every pay period since then until this weekend. I personally went into the store to pay on the set and I was told that the system was down and I would have to pay by phone I replied I come into the store so I dont have to pay an extra fee. I then asked if I could cone in on Monday to pay on the without penalty they said sure. Now here comes Monday we over spent on our kids school clothes and supplies and didnt have the money understandably I know we had to pay the previous Saturday but rhe system was down and we still had other bills to pay and the kids really needed clothes. We asked for an extension this morning which is Monday and was denied and the reason was told that being that I made an attemp to pay on Saturday that we cant be offered an extension because of that reason........ A bunch of crap you ask me but its ok Ill just take this money and go by a cheaper washer and dryer somewhere else. Well never do business with rent-a-center ever again

Do not and I repeat DO NOT go through them. We have been with them for over a year and have NEVER set up an online account with them for bill payment. We have ALWAYS called our payment in. For the past month they have done an auto draft from our bank account that we never authorized or set up. We went to the store and approached the manager and was told that they dont have the ability to set up an online account for us. We asked what email address was used to set the online account up and it was not the email address we provided when we started our contract. We have tried to log into the online using the email address they provided us when we questioned about this and it does not exist in their system nor does the email we originally provided. In other words an employee set up this account without our consent using a random email that NOBODY seems to know and set up a auto draft pay. We called corporate to stop the auto draft as we were told to do from the local branch we went through and they dont even know what email address was used for this auto draft. This is fraud. My husband has access to attorneys through his employer and we will be pursuing a legal action against this company for fraud.

They are great people
