Pet Supermarket is the only pet shop in Fayetteville that I will visit. Aquarama is too seedy; everyone smokes cigarettes while assisting customers and it is right next to a "smoke shop". Avoid it especially if you have children. The store manager of the Fayetteville PetSmart told me that his store is the busiest PetSmart in the world. He admits staffing issues. While the store manager himself is great, PetSmart employees do not reflect that whatsoever, for whatever reason, and the rude staff is a huge problem. You will find apathetic or aggressive, but never a decent employee. Here is a tip: If an associate is being abrasive and asking too many questions about your aquarium or set up, you do not have to answer them. "We reserve the right not to sell" is something an employee can claim but it is not true, unless you explicitly state that you are going to harm the fish. Home Depot is to Lowes - as Wal-Mart is to Target - as PetSmart is to Pet Supermarket. I keep an aquarium stocked in my classroom. I always need a lot of supplies and new items to interest the students. Pet Supermarket is the BEST! Again, I will never patron any other pet shop in the Cumberland/Robeson area.

I went to this store yesterday looking to buy my twins boys each a hamster. Before I went up there I did a little research but not a whole lot.. I thought that an employee working with small animals would be knowledgeable and know what they are selling. I spoke with the lady very briefly because she was RUDE, and acted like I was a dummy that did not know anything. She told me that her "teddy bear" hamsters were perfectly fine to live together and that they were NOT syrian hamsters because I did tell her that they were. Well we hoped that she knew her stuff bought the two hamsters and took them home. My twins were so excited and it is a good thing that they were not home to wake up to see that one of these hamsters had ate the throat out of the other hamster. It killed it and this was in less than 12 hours... So before going into this store and buying any animal make sure you know your stuff because the employees DO NOT. The girl was obviously just there for a paycheck not because she cared about these little creatures.. It was a sad thing to wake up too.

This is an excellent pet store located near the center of town at the Harris Teeter shopping center. They have supplies for cats dogs birds small animals and even reptiles. They have a selection of tropical fish and supplies. They have live small animals for sale. They have all the major name brands of pet food available and they will carry it to your car if youre buying a big bag.

Horrible experiences. My bearded dragon became ill and they refused to do anything although it was within the time frame they set. He later died. Also, the sales clerk suggested that my three year old could stay and work for free cleaning up animal poop or they could just sell him...he is not a slave. Needless to say, I will not be back.

I love this place. I go there for fish and supplies. This is one of the few places Ive ever seen that actually take care of their tanks. They always have nice healthy fish. I recommend this place to all my friends and once they visit they also agree. Very nice and clean and the staff are awesome.

Awesome experience with my first Vet Wellcare clinic visit! Staff was very friendly and handled all the dogs with extra TLC. Several customers visiting the clinic were repeat clients. Great costs savings- but most important amazing care to the pets there to be vaccinated and tested.

First time going to the Raeford Road location and they were pretty damn rude, except for a girl with long dark hair and glasses. This was Saturday night. Hopefully theres another location in town, because Im not that impressed with the youngins working there.

Very helpful staff that are knowledgeable about different things from food to treats . Convenient location as well as a great selection of things for all pets ! Also, great adoption organizations visit there that I have adopted from in the past .

Best pet store in town hands down. I go here about every week and have bought two ferrets from them to add to our ferret family. They also can hook you up with their large assortment of dog food. Dont waste your time, make this your pet store.

Purchased 2 beautiful birds recently. Very caring, approachable and knowledgeable staff. Have a large selection of pet supplies. Neat and clean store. The pets were very clean and healthy. I would recommend and purchase from them again.

They had some of what needed but the staff were just plain rude. Wont be going back there unless I cant get what I needed elsewhere. Would rather give my money to walmart or pet smart.

Prices are great! I usually spend 60-80 dollars at Pet Smart just for snacks, at the Pet Supermarket my cost for snacks is nearly 50% less of what I usually spend.

Great place for aquarium plants compared to PetSmart there is no comparison to Pet Supermarket plants. Staff is very kind and helpful.

After ten mins of shopping my arms and legs were covered in red bites marks. Flea infested.
