I went here in May 2016 for an exam, got a prescription but didnt fill it until several months later when I got contacts. I knew right away the prescription was off. I made an appointment to get a re-check (I called several times for 2 months where the phone would just ring and ring and there was no voicemail). Finally I was able to get a voicemail and the optometrist was out of the office until 1/23. When they returned, I had my appointment and sure enough the prescription was wrong. She wrote a new prescription, but honestly I dont trust it or this optometrist. I had to pay $30 for the re-check which I think is completely unfair since eyes dont change so drastically in months and it was clearly a mistake with her equipment or ability that caused the issue in the first place. Now I dont trust the new prescription and I dont want to waste more money getting new contacts when I am not confident in the ability of the optometrist, so I will have to pay a different eye care center for a new appointment. I have been going to an eye doctor to get my eyes checked every year for the last 35 years, I have never before had an issue or a wrong prescription prescribed. I would not go back to Costco Optical, this was my first time and last time, lesson learned.

The optician is wonderful. I picked a frame ordered it. When I picked it up they didnt fit. They were adjusted but by the time I left the parking lot they were falling off my face. Long story short went back 3 times to have them adjusted (only wore them for 1 day total) finally ordered another pair. Went in to pick them up they werent the frames I ordered. I was offered a refund. They tried to short me $30.00 on the refund. Then the manager couldnt get the refund to go through on the card that I had originally made the payment on after several tries. I gave him another card and it still took several tries to get the credit through. I said wow this really was a waste of time (4 trips and still no glasses) I was not loud, rude nor did I use profanity and the clerk said you wasted my time too. I am filing a formal complaint with the corporate office the BBB and asking for his termination. or at least a suspension. I have a business account with Costco but my shopping days are over with them.

I love Costco. I trust their products and respect the company. I get lots of groceries and consumer electronics there. When my last set of tires wore out, I was actually looking forward to getting better tires for less at Costco. Boy was it a disappointment. Its not easy working around a work schedule to get to a store that doesnt open until 10am. Then, for my ordinary car (a Ford Focus) they had nothing in stock, I would have to wait 3-5 days for a special order. Then, they couldnt keep straight what tires they could get me and what they couldnt. Then, their estimate was fuzzy, what insulation would cost, etc etc. At the end of the day, most everyone in town had better prices. Do your homework!

Longtime customer but went to replace a scratched lens within warranty. Never had issue doing this before. The optical manager Ken however decided he didnt want to provide this service. He lied about store policy and about my client profile to intimidate me into changing my mind, to save a buck. Needless to say I left disappointed, will seek optical services elsewhere.

I have used Costco for years. My whole family has. They take the time you need to make a good choice and give you really good products at the best prices. I wouldnt consider going anywhere else!
