In 2011 I ordered a pair of glasses and they had to be replaced 5 times because the lenses kept cracking. I then was told that it was my fault despite the fact that I have worn glasses for 25 years and I have never damaged or broken a single pair throughout my entire life. In 2012 I ordered a pair of glasses and they caused instant migraines. I was suspect at the time of the purchase because due to a very complicated prescription I always have to send out to get glasses. The manager at the North Hills Lens Crafters assured me that they could do them there. Well the result was that I got a pair of classes that caused migraines and very blurry vision through the left and right of each lens. I returned the pair and went to Eye Care Associates where I was told that the way Lens Crafters made my lenses in house and in a hurry no less, caused the PD to be off and that would cause headaches and blurry vision. Despite going back twice to the North Hills location to have them check the pair of glasses, they never shared this information as a possible cause. I DO NOT recommend going to the North Hills Lens Crafters if you have a complicated prescription.

The appointment went fine. However, they never notified me when my new glasses came in. I waited and waited. Finally I had to call them and they said, "Oh, we texted you." No, they didnt, and texting is not a professional way for a business to try communicate anyway. Also, I ordered contacts at the same time. They dont seem to have any knowledge of what happened to that order when I called them about it, though they fitted me for them and said they would CALL me when they arrived. I am still waiting for a phone reply from them. I wonder if that will happen? Yuck.

Love the selection and the staff however a lot of their glasses cannot be made in an hour they must be ordered which is misleading in their commercials. Again though the employees are knowledgeable and nice and the selection is good and Ive not had any issues with any of the glasses except one pair that were Oakley sunglasses and those lenses cracked within a year just after the warranty ran out. The other glasses have held up well.

After a terrible experience at the Southpoint location, I had my order transferred to this location, and Im glad I did. The service here was friendly a quick! Cant say much more about the process of ordering glasses at this location, which is why Im only giving 4 stars, but my experience so far has been positive.

In and out with new glasses in less than 1.5 hr., even though they had to call my Optrician to fax my prescription. Staff were super nice and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend this site!!
