I placed a tripod on layaway with a promise of a discount due to the plate was missing. When I went to pick up the tripod off layaway the lady who assisted me denied me the discount. She did meet me in the middle 50 - 50. ( $10.00) Once I got the tripod home I found out that its been damaged to the point of to replace the plate and fix the crack head would cost me another $160.00. I had allready paid $171.00 to walk it out of the shop. The tripod retails at about 475.00 new. I thought I was getting a fair deal on a used tripod that was missing the bag and other items that comes with it to make it the retail price. This is not the first time I had in buying items from CASH AMERICA PAWN and find out later that the items where broken. Warning on buying from them. Check E-bay first. Make sure to check the item before you purchase it. Not all of the CASH AMERICA PAWN shops are the same I have had good experience at some and bad experience at others. I still have time to take it back for a refund. If they buy damaged items from customers then they should sell them as such and let the customers know its damaged and sell it as being damaged.

Good deals, you have to go every week to see the new inventory. Got 2 paintball markers (1 really nice) for a great price. 1 was missing a piece and they refunded my money, I went back and use the money to buy another they they just put out. Again, great prices and friendlty staff.

These folks are honest, and will probably put the most cash in hand vs. other local shops. I hope you dont have to sell your gear, but if you do; this is the place to it.
