Broad selection (far more to choose from than the Biltmore Park B&N), well organized, and extremely helpful staff. Best big chain bookstore in the area by far. I think my only criticism is I miss the distributed seating areas on the top floor, I loved being able to read by the large windows. Overall the atmosphere is soothing and its always a pleasant experience to come here.

Barnes and Nobel is always a terrific experience. The staff is knowledgeable, and Id there is something you cant find, or they dont have in stock they are more than happy to order it for you if its available. The staff is also very friendly and not shy about coming and asking you is your need assistance. A pleasure to shop at this Barnes and Nobel. Highly recommended!

Absolute chaos. No employees in sight. The Seraphina event is a full on circle jerk. Nobody knows what line is which. They have like two employees scratching their heads in stupidity. They keep moving lines all over the place. Absolute lack of leadership and management. I call for the store manager to be terminated immediately or resign in shame.

I like this book store, I used to love it but when they removed all the random seating and made the only place you can stop to sit and look at a book before deciding to buy it the seating area at starbucks it was downgraded. As the only main stream book store in Asheville it will do but I do miss BAM.

I love coming to this store and browsing their huge selection! They also have a great lounge area where you can sit and read, play on the computer or people watch. This atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. A great place to hang out on a cold winter day!

They are a good location, I still miss the Borders and Books-A-Millions in the area, but these are pretty good too, and they are usually helpful to find the right book. They need a better card catalog system, though. Sometimes they dont put the books in the right section.

The cashier tried to hard sell their membership. I said no repeatedly. He then belittled me as if I am not capable of understanding the math. Terrible experience, I will shop elsewhere as this is the second time I have had a bad experience with a cashier at this store.

I love this place! The most up to date books and friendly people. I can usually get help from staff if I cant find something or just need a good suggestion. I spend way too much money here but its always worth it to have a solid book in hand.

The size of this store is nice, but the wifi hasnt been working for the past 4 days and they dont seem to be doing anything about it. They advertise free wifi, but it never seems to be a big deal for B&N if it actually works for their customers.

I love Barnes and Noble! They did a fantastic job with Robert Beatty and the launching of the new Sarafina Books! We had a blast and the people where so polite and helped so many other people! Great Book Store!
