I visited your store this past Saturday evening and had a very awful experience. A man was working on something behind the counter and asked if I needed assistance, I said, "yes please, I am looking for a Catholic bible on audio". He got up and I followed him to the audio bible area and he said "there are none". He said "we have others.. how do I say this ..um.. um.". I said "are they King James Version or New International Version" and he said "yes". I said "that wont work because they are missing some books". He said "well, I could debate that with you for hours" in a very curt tone and then walked away from me! He never asked if there is something else he could help me with or let alone ask if he could order one for me. He totally just walked away from me like he was shunning me because we didnt have the same beliefs.... However, I didnt even mention if I was Catholic or not, but simply wanted information contained in all 73 books of the Catholic version of the bible. I stood there for a moment a little stunned and then simply left the store and will never return. I have told this to several people already and they are shocked that a Christian book store would employ someone who obviously does not hold Christian values. Sad example !

Tina Bailey, thats was so "Christian" of you and why so many people hold the Christian faith in contempt. Instead of holding this business owner accountable (who would have gratefully talked with you about the situation) you choose to bad mouth your single experience. Perhaps instead you could have taken the path Jesus would have taken of patient understanding of love and forgiveness. What would his life had been like if you had "gotten over yourself" that someone wasnt perfect and openly communicated with this store clerk. He actually invited the discussion. You missed it. Perhaps you are right and he did not belong working there, as a business owner its astonishing to me how people have the audacity to complain to others vs communicatin to the person that could actually fix the problem. I thought Christianity was about love and forgiveness, perhaps its time for you, Tina to look Im the mirror and see what the real issue is.

Sad to see them going out of business, but they were full full retail. Even now with the going out of business sale, the good stuff - bibles, bible studies were only 10% off. So for a $50 to $80 bible or study there of wasnt much of a savings.
