Had been wanting to go here for a long time. Dont seem to have set hours. I was renewing my tags downtown and noticed they were within walking distance. Sign said they open at 10. I was a little early so I ate breakfast across the street. Came out a little after 10 and closed sign still up. Could see someone moving around inside. Two people came out, locked the door behind them and drove away.

There are so few of these golden nuggets left across this nation - a bookstore featuring avoidable quality old books and some rare gems. These people know books - you can just see it when you look at the presentation of books in the window. I have bought and sold books here over the years and they will help you in any rare book questions you might have.

This place reminds me of dusty old book shops with reading classics along with unusual titles unavailable anywhere else. Their occasional sidewalk book sales get droves of reading fans buying up books at yard sale prices. Located smack in middle of downtown Tampa.

I try to stop in every few months to look around. With its smell of old leather bound books, and mounds of treasures to be found, a bibliophile could get lost in there for hours. They have a 50% off sell coming up. Guess where Ill be...

Sign on the door says closed, but if you call theyll let you in. Several calls, no answer. I drove to downtown to support small business and an awesome looking store, hope they arent closed for good.

What a fabulous place to spend the day! Found a great book~many actually, but will be back to get those when I have more time to relax and peruse at leisure. Kudos to your collection of great books.

Charming with lots of older books. The prices for the bargain deals are awesome, but the full-priced books inside, that I was looking at buying, are steep by comparison to online shopping.

Dusty, rather dreary. Small but not cozy. Cramped and disorganized but not in a way that a booklover would appreciate. Felt like browsing a garage sale full of uninteresting, bland books.

This place is really neat. Lots of variety - I picked up some sheet music from some old Sondheim books and my partner grabbed some history books. The woman working was very sweet, too!

The atmosphere is addictive, and the charming staff is always happy to help find any obscure book that comes to mind. Also, a great place to meet a wide variety of locals!

Pretty cool little shop, a little cramped in some places. The books are organized by subject so its easy to browse for what youre interested in.

Always a treat. The Old Tampa Book Co. has a massive selection and lots of rare/collectible books. Prices are fair.

Neat little shop, a bit claustrophobic in areas (its a small place w/ tons of books), expect to be there a while.

Very cool but moldy - its Florida - lots of interesting old and unusual books.

Great selection, but downtown parking keeps it from a 5 star.
