I went to both Michaels in Asheville today and the staff at both were nice and helpful but even though the Arden store is further from my house I will go there from now on. The manager went above and beyond; the store was more aesthetically pleasing.

Only been in here a couple times, the last time their stock of what I needed was totally wiped out. The entire section was just empty. The employees were really nice though and helped me best they could find what wasnt there.

Smaller than some Michaels Ive been to. Limited selection in polymer clay. Decent selection elsewhere. Decent sales but base prices can be pretty high. Staff is friendly and try to be as helpful as possible.

I like knowing theyll have what I need but Im disappointed that such a large company cant deliver better prices. Their frames, baskets, flowers, and decor items are insanely priced.

Decent art supplies and such. They have good coupons pretty often, however their prices are a bit high and selection on some things is very limited. I personally prefer Hobby Lobby.
