2009 Inifniti G37 convertilble My True honest experience..... The place: beautiful! The service: scary Heres the truth and nothing but the truth. My first incident involved my convertible top. When I got it there, the mechanics began working on it right away. They used a laptop that allowed them to manually lift the top in a sequence that in the end brought the top up and out of its resting place. Unfortunately, the mechanic did this procedure in a way that caused the top to be gouged in two places on opposite sides of the roof. They stated after showing me the freshly gouged areas that there was nothing that could be done and instead pointed me to the service store where I purchased touch up paint. 2nd incident: The clasp that locks the top in place to the windshield began to make noises. They worked on it..... fixed it but, when I got in the car, there were greasy fingerprints all over the white canopy. It was already dirty was the answer. 3rd incident: Mysteriously, my air conditioner began to smell as if it was leaking. I mentioned it to them, they looked at it, cleaned the filter and charged me 12 dollars for the solution they used to clean the filter. The air conditioner still periodically emits this refrigerant smell. Incidentally on that day I overheard the manager mentioning to his staff that they werent making "him" any money. I dont know what he meant by it but, needless to say I was spooked. 4th incident: I stated that the left rear window made a banging noise when it was raised. Their answer was that they checked it, nothing was wrong with it, and the clunking noise was what that window did naturally. 5th incident: I had realized that the nylon rope that holds/guides the canopy as it transitioned to convertible had popped. I brought it to them..... they fixed it but, left grease all over the rear of the car and on rear windows. 6th incident: My seatbelts failed to retract leaving the belt in the door well subsequently, leaving deep scratches in that area from the door being slammed on them. I was told that the seatbelts were not covered. In the end, I called Infiniti Headquarters and discussed it with them. I was told that they would investigate the top ( with gouges), and that I should bring it to another dealership. I did. I brought the Infiniti to Greenwich Connecticut. The Seatbelts were under warranty. FIXED ! The left rear window under warranty: FIXED! The canopy instead of being cleaned was replaced. FIXED! Everything was fixed with the exception to gouged roof/top and the suspicious air condition hadnt yet been explained to Greenwich Infiniti Servicing your car at Pepe Infiniti is an example of how a company can make you feel /believe that your warranty isnt really a warranty.

Pepe infiniti : This has been my worse car dealer experience. DO NOT GO THERE! SHARKS! First off, they seem really nice. Its obvious though, in any business everyone is and should be nice when selling a product, but they just flip it right after the sale is made. You dont mean crap. I will never refer them and go there again! Rares Constantin was my sales person. Very nice young man that knows his cars. That has been my only upside. They dont deserve Rares Constantin. Brian Grund is the the business manager: Im very skeptical about this guy. He makes it seem like everything is ok..and its ok to get ripped off...he doesnt really want to help you but just take your money. Very weird vibe. Hes a professional at what he does...Knows how to suck people in. stay away from this dealer. I purchased a car in end of May 2010. A G35x with 49k miles and added an extended warranty. They verbally said you get 30k miles and or 3 yrs. What ever comes first. I walked out. And when i got home i looked thru my paper work and i didnt see a copy of the warranty. I was like hmmm.. i called Brian Grund for to follow up for a copy and he didnt have one. No one in the dealer could find it. Im not sure what they did, but they somehow how lost it. Then they tell me my warranty is for 24k miles... WHAT??? i have nothing to prove it so i stuck with it. Little did i know that my manufactures warranty expires at 60k miles and their warranty expires at about 74k, which means im paying like $2500 for 14k miles.. YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME! So i refunded the warranty on 8-31-2010 and Brian Grund said it would kick in to my payment within a weak. I asked him if i can get a copy of that. Brian Grund said that there was nothing to give me..and that hell submit it and it will get refunded to my bank. 11-26-2010 today (day after thanksgiving) 3 MONTHS LATER!!!: So i noticed nothing was changing in my bank statements. I called my bank, which i shouldve followed immediately after two weeks, and they said they havent received anything. And that i should call the dealer immediately to get that handled. Then i called PEPE INFINITI today 11-26-2010 and they said that process takes about 6wks or more. HUH????? And to call monday because our finance department is closed today and Brian was not in. They were so rude and unprofessional. I asked the guy on the phone if he can please just find something that says my warranty refund was processed. He said, "sure i can help you....just call back on monday."....UGH! just the way he said it. So rude like if he was a computer with no sense of my frustration. Will keep this updated to see my results. I shouldve started this blog back in June of 2010. Just had it with this dealer. No honesty in this business.

I will not buy any more cars from this dealership. It was a very bad experience with the sale service from Chris and poor service on management ( sale manager Josey ). I got my new JX 35 with them on April, it came with miss ( Splash Guards and Stainless Steel Rear Bumper Protector ), it took them about 2 month to get the parts and installed it. First day with new car and found out one of the third row seat not able to fold down. ( DOA ). The very upset me was my registration. Pepe issue a temp registration 30 days for a new car. I should receive my registration from my DMV within 3 weeks. I was worry about my registration, it was a transfer state plate every time I contact my sale person ( Chris ) ask my registration, I was told, my registration information was in processing in my state DMV, should received very soon and I wait and wait, also spoke with his sale Manager ( Josey ) . He said, he will get it taking care of it and ask me to contact him on Friday, if not, they can issue me another temp plate, end up, they not allowed to issue another temp plate, it was 2 days before my temp plate expired, I try to contact Sale manager on Friday which I was told from him, end up he was off that day, what a poor service, that even upset me more, I had to spoke with their titles dept for my issue, I was told, person just now in NJ DMV and hope will get it done on the same day, she can mail to me on next day, I said, NO, dont mail it, I personal went there and pickup up,even it was took about 2 hours + tolls drive from my place, because I dont trust Pepe anymore, sale and sale manager were lies to me on everything, didnt get any apologize from them. From what their told me, my paper works was got mess up in their title dept. Over All, Cant trust the sale service, never keep their words, even their promises to you. Give me of wrong information. But they did very nice at the beginning to sell a car to you. If they ask you to give him a rate 10 on survey . Think about it.
