Looks like the owner actually looks at these, since they left a description. Thought hed like to see my Facebook status from this afternoon: This... has not been my day... Some of my parent-friends will understand... Next time you see a parent arguing with their kid in a store... and maybe the kid is whining or acting up or talking back... Maybe, just MAYBE you should not make "Nanny-911" type comments about the childs behavior. (this particularly applies to EMPLOYEES of the store. You know that lady you were spouting off to in your line, Cashier?? She happened to be a friend of the parent you were criticizing. Hope youre proud of the face you put on your store, Ms. Big Lots employee. :-p ) What NOT to say to a parent of a child who is acting out: "If I had acted like that in a store, I wouldve caught hell from my parents." "Back in MY day we didnt dare talk to our mothers like that!" "A good swift kick will set him/her straight" "You should try spanking." Next time you see a whining "out of control" child, maybe you should stop and consider, for just one moment, that you dont know this child. You dont know the situation. You dont know what the family is facing. You have no idea what the parent has been through, what parenting tricks theyve tried, what theyve done to correct the childs behavior in the past, or about the sleepless nights that parent has had, praying over their child. You have no idea what that parent is struggling with. You dont know what that child is feeling, or why they are acting the way they are. So, dear cashier and fellow customers, please... just mind your Ps and Qs. Keep your opinions and parenting advice to yourselves until YOU have walked a mile in my shoes, and do as your mother, that saintly woman who raised you to be the absolute model of human perfection, most likely told you: If you dont have something nice to say, STFU. Thanks a lot, and have a nice day.

Big lots is an okay store. This, along with the others I have visited, all seem to be the same. Dont expect anything fancy. Its a store to browse through hoping to find something of interest at a discount price. There is no real consistency of items. Some are actually cheaper than other stores while others are overpriced. Knowing prices elsewhere or having a smartphone can help in ensuring you are actually saving. I find this store to be more of an if Im in the area stop in kind of store. Lower your expectations and youll come away feeling good about this visit.

This is a nice Big Lots. It is usually very clean and the staff are friendly. They do have varying inventory, but thats something I usually expect because they feel like a surplus/discount store. I especially like the post-holiday and post-season sales at this store, as well as the 20% Sunday deals.

one of the most best parking lots in the world. so many parking spaces. gets plowed when it snows. has both yellow and white lines. A+++
