Pep Boys did a nice job getting my car evaluated in a timely manner (I called on a Saturday at 10:40am and they had me in at 11:15am). They also were honest with the result of the evaluation. I went to Pep Boys with a power steering fluid leak in my 2004 VW Passat. Bill, the service desk technician at Pep Boys, made me aware that the cost would be an initial $29.00 for a fluid evaluation. After the evaluation, Bill made me aware that I had a couple of hose clamps that were loose and that his mechanic had tightened them for me. The total cost for the work was $37.00 with an oil dye universal charge which seals the hose clamps to the coupler. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend them in the future. The technicians were honest and cooperative which made for a smooth transaction.

Awful service. The clutch cable on my vehicle broke and I went to get a part from Pep Boys. The man in the parts department told me that he would order the part (because it was not in stock), that it would be delivered the next day and that he would call me when I could pick it up. I did not receive a call from them the next day and when I called back, the part had never even been ordered at all. The manager was helpful explaining that his employee did not do his job properly and made a ton of excuses for him when he found the note the employee left about it, but did not offer a viable solution. This failure to communicate on part of the staff at Pep Boys caused me to miss an important meeting while having to wait on the part I immediately ordered from another, more reliable, business.

Ive relied on Pep Boys for a few repairs, mostly tire related, for the past few years. I had my brake pads done this fall, and the cost was about what I expected. Today, I dropped the car off to have the tires swapped out for the spring, and I told them that the brakes were making some grinding noises, so I expected I would have to get the rear brakes done this time around. They called and said that the brakes only needed to be cleaned, and the total cost would be less than $100 dollars. They could easily have given me new brakes, charged me for it, and I would have been none the wiser. I greatly appreciate their honesty and efficiency. Im going to Pep Boys for all my repairs.

Employees & mangers are extremely rude and racial, not only they over charge for the services compare to other local repair shops, their customer service skills are very poor also. Unless if you are rich and afford to pay extra for the service. For more information do read other users comments, FYI... if you do speak with the manger to report the problem, Manger will make the remarks on the computer so nextime youre in... they will act/treat your with even more disrespect. I would highly recommend "AdvanceAuto" to anyone who is in the need of any service, not only they go the extra mile to help the customer, they are also friendly. Thank you!

CHEAPER THAN OTHERS FOR A REASON. Brought my car to get a wheel bearing fixed just the other day. Since then I have brought it in TWICE because they cant seem to put things back correctly. You would think after paying them $100+/hr for labor it would be done properly but i guess thats just not the case. Second time i brought it in was because the sound my car started making was WORSE than when i brought it in to begin with. I will NEVER be going back here. ILL PAY THE EXTRA TO HAVE IT DONE RIGHT.

Small town “Ma and Pa” service from a chain automotive store!?! At least at this location it is! These guys in service seem to get it! I will continue to bring them my business until they do me wrong. They plugged a tire for me during a snow store when no one else would take the time to do so. A 10 min job cost a few closer shops my business where these guys gained it. They took care of my leak for free! Amazing customer service from the service department.

called this place for a quote (luckily i knew what part i needed and didnt let them add on anything extra) and just wanted to let everyone know that after calling around, this pep boys in particular quoted DOUBLE what other local shops did. they quoted me $500 compared to the $260 parts and labor actually cost in the end. PEOPLE WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU IF YOU DO NOT CALL AROUND FIRST AND GET AN IDEA OF THE ACTUAL COST. scam artists.

Excellent service, manager very knowledgeable and treated me with respect. Really appreciated that there was no attempt to take advantage of someone appearing not to know any better about cars. Very honest. The work was done quickly and very professionally. Overall, super high quality, and I highly recommend. Get service every time I go in to get something fixed. Today was the second time they have bailed me out from a different garage trying to rip me off. Needed a tire plugged, other place said it couldnt be done and tried getting me to buy 4 new tires. When to Pep Boys they got my car in and out within 30minutes plugged the tire and didnt charge me a dime. Will forever be going to Pep Boys for any care help.

Went here for a small problem a while back and an employee fixed it no problem with a reasonable charge. Since I had great luck that time I decided to try here again when I had a different issue. (A different individual this time) quoted me well over the necessary work and was actually quite rude. It seems this place is pretty inconsistent with customer service.

I couldnt disagree more wiht the previous review. My daughters car was totaled due to a little of road adventure and they treated me with the upmost professionalism and courtesy. On top of their service, they only charged me $19.95 to examine and estimate the entire mess, and let the heap sit on their lot for over a week.

I cant say enough good things about the service center here. The guys are always helpful, prompt and accomodating. Started going here after I got horrible service down the street at the dealer and wouldnt go anywhere else unless I needed specialty service.

Pushed off delivery date of my car, TWICE, then canceled. Now Im a stranded SU student, and they could not care less after promising me Id get home. Dont go, they will say they can do it, then they will leave you out to dry.

Relatively simple job - replacing headlight - not done properly. Didnt change the light they were supposed to change. Cost a lot of money. Had to bring it back a second time and still got charged again.

Very awkward experience. Someone must have called and complained to Pep Boys and I think they thought it was me. They acted strange and now Im paranoid my car is going to blow up on me.
