I cant say enough good things about the totally awesome staff at PC Richards Staten Island. Beginning last summer when I thought I couldnt find the air conditioner I wanted, one of the managers, Sasha, actually came out to my car to invite me back in to the store to personally assist me in finding something to meet my needs at the best possible price. Not only did he do that, he gave me his best price and later helped me upgrade to a higher-powered unit when the weather got warmer. I was also encouraged by Vincenzo to apply for the store credit card when I thought I wouldnt be approved, and not only was it a fast and easy process, I got approved and for an amount that allowed me to buy a more powerful unit and take advantage of the special 6-month no-interest promo. These positive interactions turned into me becoming a regular customer and ALWAYS receiving top-notch service from managers like Sasha and Jimmy and Rocco all the way through great advisors like Mario and Justin to the desk associates, Dana and Jordan. I really feel like a member of the SI P.C. Richard "family" now, and I truly trust them to meet all of my electronic and appliance-related needs. Even seemingly "little" things like Rocco and Justin advising me in choosing and helping me change out my phone case and apply the new glass protector meant so much because it showed how much they care about me as a customer. And they always make sure I get the best price on whatever Im buying, which also adds to my trust and peace of mind. Every sales team should be like the one at PC Richard SI; there would be a lot more happy customers in the world! Thanks, guys (and ladies)! You have a lifelong customer in me. Keep up the great service!

About 2 weeks ago my fridge displayed a system error. The night I saw this message I thought I could quickly reset the fridge by turning the power on and off but it still displayed the message. The next day I started to notice my frozen goods thawing and a temperature drop in the fridge. It was at this time I called PC Richard on SI. At first I was redirected to their 1800 number for service but there were no more appts until Monday and this was very early Saturday morning. I was concerned that my food would spoil until then so I called back the store to speak to a manager. I spoke to a very considerate manager named Lenny and he offered a lender fridge to store my food until my fridge was fixed. Lenny helped me significantly that weekend because if not I would have lost hundreds of dollars in food as I had just gone to Costco and bought food in bulk. Luckily my fridge was fixed that Monday and I returned my loaner fridge and once again thanked the manager Lenny who went out of his way to make sure I was a satisfied customer during this entire process.

Recently purchased two air conditioners and when attempting to fill out my rebate form I realized I had no idea where the serial numbers were located. Upon calling my local store on Richmond Avenue, I was fortunate enough to speak with the manager, Mr. Rocky Tufarelli. When he realized how hopeless I was with locating this information, he actually came to my home to assist! I was, and still am, stunned with the customer service. My salesman, Mr. John Grasso, was also so helpful and informative that I made sure to get his business card and told him I will never purchase any appliances anywhere else from anyone else as his customer service would be impossible to beat! I am so delighted with both Mr. Tufarelli and Mr. Grasso that I tell everyone I know the only place to ever shop for appliances, electronics and mattresses is P.C. Richard. I will never shop anywhere else! Kudos to this great company and their exemplary employees.

It seems we got there in a BAD day!!! Sad to say we did not get the same treatment as other reviewers mention. It started when we ask for price match which they have it posted on a wall at the front of the store behind the cashier. First the sales person started by trying any way he could to find something so they did not have to price match!!!! So he came out with delivery charges!!! It sounded so outrageous that we ask for the store manager. That was even worst!!! He belittle us, and treated us like this store did not want our business, or make customers happy!!!! So we went to a New Jersey P C Richard, where we got an excellent service and we were treated with respect. Never again we will step on this STaten Island store, and we live on the island!!!PC Richard has been in business since 1909, more than a century, this particular store does not seem to belong to the same company, PC Richard and son.

When my wife and I walked in. Mario greeted us at the door. Asked us when can I help you with tonight. We explained to him we were building a new house and he walked my wife threw the whole place explaining all the things we needed for the 2 new kitchens and laundry rooms. We spend about 3 hours there. The next night we came back with the blueprints and he took his time and gave us all the specks on all the stuff we needed and took really good care of us. He made sure we were happy with all the prices and 35k later we had it all set up and ready to go. He even went out of his way to email all the sizes to our cabinet place to ensure we had that ready for them Also. When you go there please ask for him. You will be very happy. Nice easy going guy ready to help you.

The use of the term "family-owned" by PC Richard & Son is very appropriate. The level of friendliness and pride demonstrated by the staff when interacting with their customers is indeed something from a time of family-operated businesses. As opposed to the big-box stores where staff tend to be indifferent, the staff at PC Richard seek to make the experience a personal one without being overbearing. The staff at PC Richard have always answered my questions honestly and never made me feel like I was being given a "hard sell." And getting right down to the finer points, their prices truly are the best in town. Ive purchased appliances and electronics from them numerous times and have consistently walked away a happy, VALUED customer.

Having grown up in Richmond Hill, Ive always been aware of the quality products and service. Consistently, since 2008, I was always fortunate enough to have Matt Koplowitz at the Richmond Avenue Store in Staten Island to go to for all my purchases. From all the appliances for my kitchen renovation to laptops, cameras, servaillance cameras, qaahwr and dryer and televisions. Matt has always been on point with customer service and always made sure what I purchased was exactly what I needed. I only shop there and only rely on Matt. I always recommend the store and Matt to all my friends and business associates and Matt always provides number one, above and beyond customer service to everyone.

I came into P.C. Richard & Son looking to buy a new mattress for myself. The one i had was very uncomfortable, i woke up with back pain every morning. I wasnt sure which one i wanted to purchase so when an employee walked over to me asking me if i needed help in deciding which mattress i was interested in, i immediately said yes. Aside from greeting me as soon as i stepped into the store they were extremely helpful and knew exactly what they were talking about. The prices are very responsible and the staff was soo kind. I love walking into stores and receiving help from employees that actually know about their products. Thank you to all the P.C staff, you are appreciated.
