Terrible customer service- I cant stress this enough!! I arrived eight minutes before this business opened. As I was walking up looking for the elusive key drop I noticed all of the employees (who saw me as well) already in the shop. I couldnt find the key drop I assume because the building is under construction. I tried to open the front door to drop off my key and go. I thought this would be an easy task considering the employees not only saw me park my car in their drop off spot but walk over to the building too. The door was locked. Im standing outside in 30 degree weather while all the employees are inside ignoring me- that shouldve been my first red flag. Nevertheless I make my way to the back door where Im "greeted" by an elderly man with glasses who is always in the front managing the front. The first words out of his mouth were "we dont open till 8". I was a little take back to say the least. No good morning, hello or what can we help you with. You know, normal greetings a decent person says to another human Being. I tried to explain to him that I was looking for the key drop off, that it wasnt my intention to "bother" him. I could see how important these last 6 minutes were to him. But he just repeated "we dont open till 8"and that was it I left. I suppose Mavis discount tires of rocky point N.Y. Is one of those businesses that open promptly at 8 sharp and could care less about the costumers they are alienating. Ill never go back there again!! Terrible customer service, unfriendly staff and high prices! Oh and Mavis of Rocky Point, theres about 15 other shops on that road alone who Im sure will be more customer friendly and happy to take my money. My car needs a lot of work- you missed out.

had to get tire plugged for a flat. once I got it looked at sensor light I found came off and they told me I needed to get 2 new back tires. I called my uncle and he said that that was not right. when I try to get the guy at the desk to talk on the phone with my uncle, he was rude and told me he wouldnt speak to him over the cell phone, that he had to call the phone for the office. when my uncle did, he told him dont rip me off, so I told the jerk put the tires back on. I will not be conducting my business here again. totally unprofessional and dishonest. need to check the way they conduct their business and make sure theyre more honest and professional

Excellent service. Very reasonable prices. They took me as a walk in and squeezed me in.Offered to drive me home so I didnt have to wait for 2 hours. I waited...had wifi and television...I was comfortable and happy. Left with 2 new tires that I know I needed, an alignment - which I know I needed and a balancing. Lower price - they worked with me even though I didnt have the coupons and did a thorough check on the rest of the car for free.I wll definitely purchase all tires and any front end work here...and refer to my friends and neighbors. 5 star establishment...Polite, professional and Informative!

I regret making a reservation online to purchase new tires, have them balanced and aligned here. When I showed up for my appointment, 10 days after making a reservation, the tires I had reserved were not there and the customer service staff didnt offer a resolution. In fact, when replacing the order for the tires, he mistakenly ordered two instead of four... They explained that the reservation feature of their website is run by a third party company and they dont have a commitment to uphold any services reserved through their website. Bad experience.

I always have a great experience at Mavis in Rocky Point. I admire their honesty. I brought my vehicle in for a tire rotation and brakes. I thought I was due for brakes. Mike called me and said I did not need brakes, I still had 60% left on them. The next day I brought my vehicle to the dealership for a recall. They called me to say I needed brakes. Really? Thank you to Mike and everyone at Mavis. You will continue to have my business.

Sent my wife in to get her tire plugged or patched. They told her she needed a new tire because the nail was in the sidewall. Wanted to charge her $210.00. The nail was one inch from the center of the tire. Goodyear plugged it today no problems. Took a pic and Im contacting corporate tomorrow. Nice... Place to take advantage of a women. Never wrote a review before but that is bad business stay away!!!!

Salesman went way out of his way to please me, even modifying prices and ordering the tires, brakes, and anti-freeze I required. Set up a date for service and got me in as the first customer in the morning. This is the third time I used Mavis and each time was a good experience.

The worst customer service there. I made an appointment and when dropping it off they said they could not get to my car. I use to like the place until new management took over and now its a joke of a place and just lost 5 cars going there routinely. Just stay away from this place
