I was in this store on Sunday, August 2nd @ around 7 pm. I stopped in to buy some blueberries and I had my Yorkie in a handbag that I carry her in. I waited on the self check-out line for about 15 minutes and when I was about to pay a security guard came over to me and told me that dogs arent allowed in the store. I told him that I had been in the store many times over the course of 8 years with either her or my other Yorkie that passed away but if that is your policy - no problem -- I will not come back to the store with her. However, I asked if I could pay for the berries as I was at the register and then leave but the security guard said no. He wanted me to leave the store immediately. So he kicked me out of the store. I was dumbfounded, humiliated and asked to leave the store as if I was a criminal or something. I cannot believe that I was treated this way in this store. I did call the manager and report this incident and the manager apologized and mentioned that he would talk to the security guard. But you know... I still feel terrible and I want people to know what happened to me. In short, I am baffled that a store would let a minimum wage low life security guard treat their customers this way. I will never set foot in this store again.

First, Im thankful they dont allow dogs in the store (other than service dogs of course). Im disgusted by the woman who gave the store one star and put down the security guard because the security guard was just doing his job and told her she and her dog would have to leave.... Other than that I should say they carry decent brands, have good sales now and then, make good Italian bread and Kaiser rolls. One huge problem is very often the cutting blades on the meat & cheese slicers in the deli are not calibrated properly and things come out uneven and shredded. If they carried more organic items and vegan choices Id give them five starts. Oh, and going to Wild By Nature (owned by KK) is not the answer because they raise the prices just to call it the Wild By Nature store.

I really like King Cullen very much. The place is extremely clean and the variety of products is pretty good although limited. I think that overall the staff is friendly and helpful. They have good cashiers and enough of them so that the lines move quickly. The drawbacks are that while they offer double coupons up to $1.00 they have a lot of restrictions. You can only use two coupons from the same manufacturer and they only double the first five coupons. So while they have a huge sign saying Double Coupons, its a bit misleading. Also, the prices are higher than most other super markets and it takes work to get a good deal. If youre not big on coupons or bargains King Cullen is a great place to shop.

This is a fairly well stocked store. They have some good meats and some fish. Produce so far has been on the fresher side with few instances of items going bad on display, very few by the way. However their prices are above average for the area when compared to other popular supermarkets and even with high end stores like wholefoods. its conveniently placed next tot he train station so at times for a last minute item it works, but not for the whole grocery shopping for the house.

I can see that the cashiers have courteous manner and treatment of customers who are of white skin and features; however, when it is my turn, that service is shut off. Greetings are mumbled, smiles are scarce. I know it has nothing to do with the amount of my purchases, my bill is higher than the person in front and behind me. I saw no sign indicating that it was for white only patrons, unless it is just an understanding just not advertised. I am dumbfounded by my experiences there

They have great desserts and delicious baked goods! Things that I cant find in other supermarkets!! Prices are a little higher here than where I usually go. I only stop by once in awhile for a pretty plant and a few things on sale!!

Do you want to waste your hard earned money ??? This is the place. I live in Rockville centre for 3 years now and goto this place only and only if its an emergency. Stay away even if you won the Lottery.

Kind of small. The deli staff tend to slice thick cold cuts despite requests for thin. Open 24 hours, though, and easy to reach on a main thoroughfare.
