My friends and I were hungry after a late night volleyball practice at the Rochester Institute of Technology, and we heard that Insomnia Cookies would deliver into the early morning and the cookies were delicious. The first problem that we encountered was the not very user- friendly website for the customers trying to place an online order on their mobile device, but decided to call instead. So, we placed our order of 14 cookies around 10:30 pm and were told that the company was trying to be more efficient with their delivery time and waited the mentioned time of 30 minutes, then went down to the door and nobody showed up. The lady who spoke to use warned us that there was only one to two people that had been delivering at our nearest Insomnia Cookies area and none of them were answering their phones and communication was extremely poor. Next, we called for a second time around 11 pm and were given coupons via email (that didnt even show up until much later the next day, so they were pointless) and were told that our order had been lost; we gave our order again and an employee explained that the wait would be another 60- 75 minutes! Once again, we waited about an hour, went down to the door, nobody showed up. Then, for the 3rd time, we called and were told the order would be there in 15 minutes, waited half an hour, and ,again, no one. By about 1:30, we had made a fourth call and all of us were infuriated by the complication of 14 cookies! At this point, I had given up, but my friends really wanted cookies, so we gave them one last shot to get over here and deliver cookies. Nothing. At 2:45, we had been offered our order to have been doubled and fresh, but we finally cancelled the order at that because we had figured that we would have to wait even longer to get them and were just done with the thought of loosing sleep over some desert. Also, I found it inconvenient that each location does not have their own phone number, so you have to call the company in order to be connected to your local store. Overall, I do not know how the products themselves are, but the delivery service we found to be extremely poor because of a lack of communication. Although, the people we pretty nice and gave us coupons and discounts; I just wouldnt get a delivery. I hope you have better luck than we did.

Based on product alone: 5, service: 3. The cookies were delicious and, melted in my mouth all too fast! While prices can seem high for a cookie, its the business of the place, and I get that 100%. Where else can you get a delicious smores cookie in seconds that is almost as big as your face?! As for service, the person who took my order placed all cookies in one sleeve, which caused the flavors to meld together on the walk home.

Terrible! Attempted to use delivery service a number of times and have yet to have a positive experience. Were unable to follow basic delivery instructions. 2.5 hours, a number of calls and e-mails and still they couldnt manage a simple delivery. Apparently, Call when you get here is too difficult a task for these people. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place.

Great business idea, love the cookies, but not the best with delivery. We live less than 5 minutes away. A six-cookie order took an hour and a half to arrive. Calling Insomnia Customer service, I was informed that "an hour isnt really that bad". So. Do not order if you want cookies anytime soon, better you just go get them yourself.

Enter into a delicious smell of baking cookies and try to pick just one thing off this menu! In the last week Ive had a brownie, a sugar cookie, and two peanut butter cookies. The peanut butter ones are especially good, and keep well until the next day if you can wait that long! My boyfriend says the brownies are the perfect texture.

They are convenient for when you have a sweet tooth, but dont feel like going anywhere. Decent cookies, but their red velvet is the best. Have had moments of order arriving late with somewhat cold cookies when I lived literally a 3 minute drive from the establishment. Had also had them forget items twice and then refuse a refund.

They have the absolute worst staff ever. It completely ruins the cookies because youre left with the taste of terrible service in your mouth. I waited nearly 40 minutes for 3 cookies because they were standing around. Its unreal that these people continue to work here and the manager doesnt hire new staff.

I kept meaning to try them and almost wish i hadnt! They are deliciously addicting! Bought a 12 pack for my family and they were all fresh, warm, perfect texture, flavors, and all the way around one of the best cookies i have ever eaten. Highly recommend them and these are perfect office treats for a team!

I went to insomia in Rochester a couple days ago w friends, and there was one cashier, named "Terri" he was AMAZING. Dealt with the rush of tons of people very well, and made sure that everyone was satisfied. Personally I was impressed ! The line was all the way out the door. Kid has skills.

They only deliver within a mile radius of their store. My spouse travels a lot and stays in Rochester so I thought it would be nice to surprise them with some yummy cookies and because this company had fairly good reviews I thought Id give them a try but nope!! A mile radius??. Lol.

Chocolate chunk, double chocolate, and M&M cookies were delicious. They were warm and baked to perfection. Would definitely be a customer again. Prices are reasonable for a premium fresh warm cookie. Dont miss this treat. I cant speak for the ice cream or other baked goods.

Ive been to a great Insomnia Cookies out in Ohio. This one has terrible customer service, and the cookies taste horrible. I would recommend everyone to eat at an Insomnia Cookies, usually great. Just not this one. Terrible everything.

Late night sweet treat thatll make you want to move your feet. Get a single cookie, all the way to a custom ice cream sandwich with two different ice creamss and two different supreme cookies. Great after bar treat in college town

Very delicious hot and tasty cookies, only thing is if you like milk with your cookies get it somewhere else before coming there because a small bottle will run you couple $, but besides that, very nice place!

Very tasty stuff, kinda bare bones setup. Only a few places to sit, and I get the impression that is not really for that. The people were friendly, and the cookies and ice cream was great.

The staff is really friendly but... Its real cold inside, and the cookies are way overpriced for what they give you. Dont let me get started on the prices of water or milk.

Really good cookies! and they even deliver! The only thing is that for a place that is dedicated to cookies, they dont have that big of a selection to choose from.
