Im from Boston but I have good friends from Nyack and every time I visit them they take me here. The food is deliriously delicious! In addition, for my friends birthday I wanted to send her a cake instead of flowers and I called from Boston asking if they could help me out. The person I spoke with was super friendly and helpful and they not only delivered the cake for me (which was a triple chocolate cake to die for!) but the owner was the one who personally hand delivered it to my friend! I didnt think friendly service like that existed anymore. I highly recommend this place for anyone (well, anyone but those on a diet).

The food here at Didier Dumas is true proper French delights. The pastries they offer are elegant wonderfulness. True pieces of art that are mind blowing in their depth of flavor. This place is a marvel and everyone should try the ham and cheese croissant it is an elevation on a presumably simple sandwich. And this is not the emphasis here, even if it were a pricey sandwich shop, which it is not ; it would be worth it.

Stopped in for the first time and picked up an apple cranberry crumble square to go just to have something with coffee on my way home. What an amazing treat ! So silky, fresh, delicate, it was all I could do to not turn right around and by a whole cake but I will be back and soon. Already planning how parties will be elevated .

I heard of this place by recommendation by a vendor at the Thursday Nyack farmers market one day. Great little french bakery with delicious treats for a nice occasion. These beautiful little pastries make an impressive bounty for social functions and a nice delectable alternative to a cake for a celebration. I will be returning!

Pastries ok. Staff and service atrocious and with attitude. I asked if they could remove a pastry from a preset box when I buy Bc of an allergy before presenting to me and they refused to literally just remove it from the box. John was extremely rude and rushed and so off putting I would never return

Didier Dumas is the finest french bakery in the New York metropolitan area. It is a taste of Southern France on Nyacks Main Street. If you are seeking a low calorie/low carbohydrate treat, dont go here. If you are looking for a small slice of heaven, come Didier Dumas !!!

If you like French pastry like Éclair au chocolat or Mille Feuille or also Crepes it’s a good place to go. People are welcome and nice and go can stay to have a breakfast or a lunch with a nice cup of tea or coffee.
