I recently purchased a pair of NB running sneakers this past weekend at the New Balance Princeton store, I paid cash. The following morning, I tried them on at the gym and they were very uncomfortable. The stitching on the "tongue" was defective on the right sneaker. I went to the New Balance store on 150 5th Avenue to return them two days ago. I found a different pair which wasnt in stock. I advised the sales associate to please issue a refund so I can order the pair in Zappos (overnight shipping). The sales associate informed me that I would receive a gift card. Why would I receive a gift card if I paid cash for the sneakers this past weekend? This didnt make sense. In any case, she told me that she can only issue a gift card, I would pay the difference for the new pair of sneakers and I will have to place an order via their IPAD for the new pair. She pulled up the sneaker on the stores IPAD, I added my credit card information. I told her that I would like to get the sneakers within 1-2 BDAs. She told me that it ships out quickly from their warehouse. Well, I just checked tracking and the sneakers are scheduled to arrive next Wednesday, Feb 17, 2016. So basically I have to wait seven days for the sneakers to arrive. Someone in corporate should sit down with management and staff at the 150 5th Ave store and review refund policy and providing customers with false shipping information. Lastly, the NB 150 5th Ave NYC store shouldve had the sneakers shipped overnight since I was inconvenienced with a defective pair of New Balance sneakers. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I emailed about a couple of shoes I was interested in buying. That was 2 weeks ago. No one has responded. I went in person, they were actually quite helpful. Maurice measured, advised and "said" he would order my sneakers. Im still waiting to hear back. They have poor follow up skills. I do not live any where near their store and do not want to waste my time coming to the store of they dont have what I need. My time is way too valuable.

The new balance Minimus trail shoe is one heck of a shoe. I just got into trail running 4 months ago. It’s a different challenge over running on pavement. It gives me the feeling of being one with nature and running along dirt paths and trails has a “down to earth” kind vibe to it. I use this shoe whenever I’m not required to put on my office clothes. It’s that good. Getting a shoe from them is truly a wonderful experience.

I have wide feet and couldnt fit into trainers from other makers as they dont make wide fit in training shoes. New balance is the only maker that makes wide fit trainers. This store has no wide fit shoes in any trainers. They also didnt have regular fits in a couple of models in size 11. Why do they wanna maintain a costly property on 5th avenue which has stock insufficiency is the first thing that came to my mind.

The customer experience for me at this location was horrible. It took over one hour to oder a shoe because they did not have my size in stock. The sales staff seem very apathetic. It has been over one week and I still do not have my shoes. The staff seem not to know how to locate or track me shoe. Very disappointed in the service . I wish I would have gone to the Nike store across the street.

Dont trust their foot analysis. The sales professionals are not medical professionals and have no business analyzing your feet or recommending proper footwear. I know for a fact that I have high arches in the 90th percentile and yet their silly device said I have low arches. A 2 dimensional scanner is not sufficient to evaluate your feet. Go to a chiropractor or podiatrist for that.

I went to this store and had such speedy, thorough customer service that I have become hooked. The sales woman was really knowledgeable and was able to pinpoint what I needed. This was especially helpful because I did not really know what I needed. I was fitted, catered to and walked through my entire process within 10 minutes, which was great because I was in a rush.

The woman who "helped" me (Bette) was AWFUL. She was dismissive, harsh, condescending & all around nasty. She is a horrid representative for the brand. The manager who helped me checkout was great, but the damage had been done. One star for the manager and one star for the shoes. Sack Bette today!

Great inventory. They had my size. (I have difficulties finding my size in many shoe stores, but this store did have the size I wanted!) Good service from the sales assistant. I got an immediate attention as soon as I walked into the store. People are friendly. I would definitely come back.

Despite being in 5th Ave, this New Balance store tends to be less crowded and hectic than many other stores that are located along the strip. The atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing and the staff is helpful. The prices are very reasonable at this location.

This shop is great! The staff are very nice patient and helpful. Got all the help I needed without getting unnecessary greetings or questions. Was shopping with a toddler in a stroller. The staff kept him entertained when not helping other customers.

Had an akward situation because an employe make a guy uncorfortable because he asked for a "girls" shoe. The New balance shoes dont have much difference between girls or men, but after this he didnt want to try it anymore.

have tendinitis in my feet. New Balance is the ONLY sneaker I will wear. It provides shock resistance to the heels and is not a showy brand like the others. It makes quality footwear for anyone.

Dont bother if you have feet bigger than a size 10. I guess women with larger feet dont deserve to be able to try shoes on even if a company makes them. Would give zero stars if I could.
