What a horrible place. Apple needs to do a complete clean-up of their customer service especially in this store. I drove 1.5 hours to bring a friend there because she was having trouble with her iPhone 6 Plus. Specifically, her phone would not pick up complete sentences when using voice recognition for messaging and Siri, and often changed sentences to include profanities. It seemed like the phone was possessed. The Apple tech she was assigned to - a young man named David - was immediately condescending and even after getting the same gibberish response from voice recognition, continued to act as if her visit to the store was a imposition and a waste of his time. He eventually gave her a replacement phone but had trouble validating it. After inserting and reinserting her Sim card several times, he informed her that the problem was with Verizon and he would have to activate her phone by computer. He went through several gyrations with the phone and the computer and finally gave her back the phone and told her to go home and re-download her apps and then he walked away. We commandeered another tech - Tim Blackman - who was very nice and tried to be helpful and at least told her how to download her apps from the iCloud. We left the store and went a few blocks away to grab lunch and download her apps but found that she couldnt access her iCloud. We returned to the store and were met at the door by a female tech who used the Apple Wifi to get her to iCloud and download one app, and then referred her to someone named Frank to "take you the rest of the way". Frank made some comment about us being "back again" and listened to her complaint about this new phone (it took 20 minutes to download an app from the iCloud) and then told her to wait "one minute" while he proceeded to deal with the problems of 4 other people who came in after us. We eventually left. Once we arrived home she found out that her phone could not make or receive calls or messages. According to Apple Tech Support, the phone was not registered in any database and was not activated at all. We would have to wait at least 48 hours to see if tech support could get the phone activated and if not, we would have to go back to this store and get another replacement phone. If the Apple Store in Nanuet is reading this, you need to re-evaluate your techs and give them a lesson in customer satisfaction. I am so appalled at the treatment my friend received that I am complaining to the Better Business Bureau and to the Apple Corporate Headquarters. Hopefully someone will take these complaints seriously (they apparently are not anything new for this store), and take meaningful action. UPDATE: After 3 days of non-stop phone calls between Apple tech support, Verizon tech support and my friend, we finally got to the bottom of the problem. And this would never have happened without the help of a very competent and kind Apple tech at the Nanuet store - Adam. After hours of trying to get yet another replacement phone to activate, Adam, working with Verizon, discovered that ALL of the phones in the batch that was sent to the Nanuet store were not registered by Verizon into their database and therefore, ALL of the Verizon phones in this Apple store were incapable of being activated. It took Adam and Verizon 4 hours to finally fix this problem on my friends phone. Kudos to Adam. If all Apple techs were as competent and tenacious as Adam, there would be no complaints for this or any Apple store.

Apples customer service has become a nightmare!!!! I have an iPhone 6 which has a defective earpiece that is internal on the phone.They have had the phone repaired once before. At a 5 hour wait in which i was made to feel like an imbecile because i was repeatedly accused of pouring water in it. after 2 hrs of diagnoses in which they came to the conclusion that it was not my error but, in fact according to them a legit problem with there phone they proceeded to repair the iPhone for 3 more hours and return it without my contacts,pictures ,music which i hadnt backed up but could no longer wait to have the phone returned so i did it anyway. ONLY TO FIND ONE MONTH LATER THAT THE SAME EAR PIECE IS HAS NO SOUND AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! IT IS THE ONLY PHONE I USE ,MOREOVER; IM FINDING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ANY HELP AT ALL FROM APPLE!!!!! THERE ARE NO AVAILABLE APPOINTMENTS FOR WEEK!........ I FEEL HELPLESS !!!!! I have been purchasing Apple products for 30 years starting with my 1st 2E model and have slowly watched Apple become solely focused on making more and more money. NOT GIVE A CARE ABOUT THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMERS ANYMORE!!!!!!!!! AND THE IPHONE IS UNDER THE APPLECARE WARRENTY STILL!!! IT really makes me very sad, however; this treatment is unbearable!!!!!!! BE AWARE AND CAUTIOUS WHEN DEALING WITH THIS MONOPOLY. i have come to the conclusion that it is time to severe ties because their products now break regularly

Okay okay every seems to be complaining because of the wait because they are walk ins but in reality life doesnt work like that you need to make appointment because you cant blame the workers who arent taking you quick enough to deal with your problems if they had clients who had waited days hours even weeks to get there and have all attention on them but no you have to barge in and be complaining where is your service when you didnt even make apointments!!! I dont think so and your a fool if you do I went just the other day and I HAD book in advance and I had been talking to my service pervidor when a angry older women get frustrated saying no one was taking care of her so NOW my apple employee had to take care of her and now IM the one waiting when she is the one coming in with out any recognition of the employee I mean seriously people stope complaining its your own fault! But, the service beside the angry older women whos name I will not mention everything was great they even gave me discount were extremely kind intellectually motivated and ambitious people they gave me deals of a life time they gave me a upgrade on my iphone5 3 months in advance! Im mean really! Stop hating on these innocent people

I decided to go to Apple of Nanuet because I expected good customer service however I was mistaken. My brand new iPhone 7 was acting up showing the Apple symbol and then shutting off over and over. This phone has been protected in an otter box since day one and is only 4 months old. I have been an iPhone user for over 8 years and have never been treated so poorly. I walked into the store which was busy and I meet an employee who told me my phone was alittle dented and I would have to wait 3.5hrs until I can meet another Apple employee so I waited 3hrs and 45 mins then talked to an iPhone specialist who was training a younger employee. The specialist looked at the phone and told me he can look into what they can do for an exchange, the female employee then walked up and whispered into his ear to tell him about the dent. After this Information was exchanged I was told the phone can no longer be replaced with Apple care the phone was less then 5 months old. The decision was already made before I waited over 3.5hrs, nothing was fixed and felt completely disrespected. This is poor business and I have lost respect for Apple products.
