Technical Support or SCAM? I took my Mac mini to the apple Paramus store to have it fixed. Get ready to wait for over 2 hours to be helped. That is ok, customer service at Apple is always great. The issue started after leaving the store, first I got a call saying that the internal HD was the problem, they would replace it, BUT THEY DO NOT GIVE BACK THE OLD HD, why?????? Well, ok, as long as you fix it. Got another call after a week saying that actually it is not the internal HD, it is the logic board(mother board), I asked, are you sure?? Of course, we got this, we are going to replace the Logic board and the Mac mini will be perfect again. $320.00 to have it fixed, ok, if that is going to fix the problem, why not. Come to the store to pick up my Mac mini after close to 3 weeks, and I find out that my ram was removed and that was the problem. WHATTTTTTT????? I was told 2 different problems prior to my arrival at the store and the problem was something else???? I was robbed, I mean, charged $320 to fix a logic board and the problem was the ram. Super disappointed with the lack of communication and service done without consent from the customer. if I knew that I would have to replace every part in the computer, I would have bought a new one. Apple that really looked like a scam. Keeping the internal HD, replacing Mother board and none is the problem????? **** UPDATE *** PROBLEM WAS NOT SOLVED AND THEY DO NOT KNOW THE REASON, REFUNDED THE MONEY AND KEEP YOUR COMPUTER AND GOOD LUCK. APPLE IS WASTE OF TIME AND THE MANAGER BRYAN IS THERE JUST TO HANDLE HIS BUSINESS CARS AND DISAPPEAR. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE FROM THE GET GO. NOT KNOWING THE PROBLEM, FIX STUFF WITHOUT ASKING, 3 DIFFERENT REASONS FOR THE PROBLEM AND NOT FIXING THE PROBLEM AT THE END. #APPLE #SCAM

I went to this apple store because of the distance from my home. I have never in my life been treated so poorly by any apple store or customer service rep. I was told to leave my laptop overnight so they had enough time to chance out a $12.00 part that would only take about 15 min. That was fine. I was told I would receive a call when I could pick it up. When I didnt receive the call I figured they were busy so I called. I was told that they didnt know when I would be able to pick it up it might be a week or so because they had to order a new part. I told them not to do anything and I would pick up the computer and see if I could get it done quicker somewhere else. When I got to the store they told me that I needed a new battery and that I was responsible for a $79.00 charge and that they didnt need a piece. (FYI the battery was brand new and the original issue was that the new universal charger that they sell did not work with my laptop) I told them I wanted my battery back because that was not going to fix the issue since the battery was working just fine before I got the new charger. This guy comes out without a name tag, of course ,speaking down to me and telling me I didnt know what I was talking about. Then what I told him that his explanation was bull**** he told me to shut my mouth it was a family environment. (I was standing in the back corner or a crowded loud as hell store with my back to everyone but him. No one else could hear me. He was rude and nasty and I recommend that if anyone needs to make apple purchases or needs things fixed they travel to a different store.

my review of Apple Store Garden State Plaza (aka a store filled with people dressed in blue t-shirts trying to take your money). I started having trouble with my phones battery about 2 months after the warranty expired (it would hold its charge for about half of the time that it used to when i first got it). The "geniuses" at the store ran a diagnostic test and came to the conclusion that the battery was running at 40% capacity. They offered to replace it for $80, which i declined. I came back months later after my phones battery was degraded to the point where it held charge for 15 minutes after being fully charged. They once again ran a diagnostic and it was performing at 5%. Less than a week later, my phone wouldnt turn on at all. It wouldnt restore or restart even when plugged into an outlet. I went to the apple store and waited for 30 minutes as they tried restoring it. At this moment, the employee said that the problem was internal. He was now saying that i would have to pay $280 to have my phone replaced and work again. Keep in mind that this is a week after i was told to pay $80 to have the battery replaced because that was the only problem. Solution: ordered a battery and and tool kit off Amazon for a total of $24 and replaced the battery in 30 minutes. (i have never opened up any electronic device before and was still able to replace the battery without any problem or causing any problems with the phone) Lesson: The employees are paid to answer questions that can be answered by google in 2 minutes. Dont listen to them. They just want your money and to get you off their backs.

If there was 0 star, thats what this place deserves, its all about the money, nothing about customer service,, took my iphone 5C probably the worst phone Apple ever made, went blank... made an appointment went there and without looking at the phone they are already telling you that to get a new phone it will cost $265.00, they said they will try to change the screen but if after still phone does not work they will keep it and give me a new phone for $265.00 (keep it) i said aha, well i told them that i dont want a new phone if replacing the screen does not fix the problem i will want my phone back and see my options later...well they told me to come back in hour, I already knew that at least it will cost $126.00 to replace the screen which they said it was the problem never gave me a real explanation what cost the problem but i still paid for a new screen but guess what????? they refused to give me the screen they took from the phone that was supposed to be bad, meanwhile it wasnt broken or anything but they said they will test it????MAYBE THEY WILL SELL IT TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER FOR $126.00 LOL!!!! stay away from this place, what a bad reputation for APPLE , a person that works there that wasnt even part of the conversation got involved and started giving me attitude, hey you work for customer service lets be nice with customers and I dont think this is Apple mentality. Guys whoever is running this place is a joke all about money...

muy mala en la tienda de paramus en el mall es una vergüenza como tienen a la gente haciendo lineas por horas para q la gente de china o Filipinas o de oriente compre los teléfonos i Phone 6 de 5 y 6 y la gente q va por un i Phone q vive aca se lo niegan con cualquier escusas me provocaron náusea los vendedores a los q no se q propinas o tips recibiran por vender telefonos alos chinos o filipinos gente no pierdan el tiempo por su cell alla si van de las compañías para solo cambiar el telefono por q te bloquean para q no lo puedas comprar
