Ive been on a crazy nostalgia kick lately. Looking at my SNES collection I decided to find the games I lost or sold as a kid. Living in jersey there arent a lot of options and the ones avalible charge either ebay prices and up, or have a tiny selection. I stumbled upon Game On from a craigslist post. Issue was they were 2 hours away from me by car. After going through every retro store in Manhattan, Queens, and Bronx there wasnt much left. So I bribed my cousin and we took the trip out to LI and I could not be more happy we did. First off the shop is the cleanset Ive been in and welcoming. Found a few PS2 games Ive been hunting for (all priced lovely), started back up my NES collection and even grabbed some N64 games. Dani was great, shes super nice and kept things fun. We talked about beat em ups, Japan, and she was super patient with me as I looked over the vast selections over and over (I didnt want to miss anything). Tristan the owner I only met for legit a minute but he was cool. Made a joke about a NES game that has eluded me for a while and all I could think was "I love the vibe here." He found out I was from out of state, looked at my ps2 games and hooked me up. Why...I have no idea, even typing now that was such a cool thing to do when he didnt have to. But seriously thank you that was insanely kind. You dont get this kind of quality, prices, and customer service in NY and NJ. I did not strike any of the games on the top of my wishlist off but left with a bag of games. My only complaint falls on me as I have some doubles of NES and SNES games I shouldve brought in to possibly get that rare game I had my eye on in their display. But there will be a next time. To Dani thank you for the hospitality and great convos, get Brawl Brothers youll love it. Tristan thank you again for the kind gesture and having such an amazing store. Ill be back.

Upon entering youre automatically greeted by the warm staff. Thats only the tip of the iceberg. Wall to wall nostalgia with all the games and consoles you grew up with. Thats not all they have. Toys are plentiful, cards are abundant and the smiles on the faces of customers fill the room with an atmosphere that can only be described as magical. Sounds corny? Its the truth. Every product in the store is cleaned and looks like it did when it was first shipped out from the production line many years ago. There are stations where you can play games and there always seems to be different events where you can participate in game challenges with a chance to win prizes. The shopping experience in second to none and the staff always makes you feel like youre the only person in the store, even on crowded days. I cant give this place enough praise. Check it out for yourself. You wont be disappointed.

I live in Mt. Sinai, and Ive seen this store a couple of times passing through Miller Place. Today was the first time i stepped into Game On, because another game store did not have what i was looking for. when I walked in I saw all these older hard to find systems and merchandise. I was very surprised to see some of the games I dont ever see anywhere else. The staff there are beyond nice. They are very friendly and are concerned with one thing. And thats YOU leaving their store HAPPY. I cant tell you enough how nice these employees where. It is a shame it took me this long to actually visit the store. If you love games, old and new, and want a 5 star shopping experience, I highly recommend this store! Thank you Game On!

Do you yearn for the days or playing video games and not waiting for it to install? Sick of having to have to be "online" for your games to work? Do you love all things retro? Do you like to brag about high scores? This is the place. Is Super Mario, Sonic or Pitfall Harry more appealing then generic guy with gun? Game On is your best bet. They have every classic system represented (and modern ones too). Systems, games, hardware, rarities and 80s toys. Plus the staff is super friendly and is ready to help. Everything Ive picked up from them is clean and works great. Pricing is on point with the retro market and they always have cool promos going on. Amazing store, cant reccomend it enough.

Overall a good indie video game store. Its a nice break from GameStop and it appears that this store is in better financial health than the Play n Trade store in Bay Shore. Selection of Japanese import games is non-existent. I guess that the stores owners dont want to have to deal with the slippery slope of dealing with domestic consoles that have been modified with the pirate chips that are needed to boot imported games. For your fix of import games and the matching consoles, I still advocate making the trip into Manhattan to go to J&L Games on 7th Ave.

Simply put: the best retro video game store around, and Ive been to them all here on L.I. No offense to the competition, but this store has them all beat on prices, inventory, and presentation. I cant believe how everything is meticulously cleaned and packaged. The systems and games look brand new. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The amount of old NES and SNES games they carry is enough to make the trip, but add in all the Sega, Atari, PlayStation, and XBOX- and Im like a kid in a candy store. Ill be back!

Such a great store with all the old school systems and games you could want. Also some fun random figures and toys too. The owner Tristan is such a nice genuine guy, always willing to help and honest when it comes to trade ins. Everything Ive ever bought from here has always worked with no issues unlike my experience with play n trade. Definitely bring your business here and if youre looking for something you dont see right away, dont be afraid to ask theyll help in anyway they can!

Not only does this store have every retro video game youve ever wanted, they have some you didnt even know existed! Theyll buy your games too, and for a fair price. Add to that consoles, accessories, and collectibles and it becomes video game heaven. But wait, theres more! They can even repair your devices! And you can play games right in the store with the nicest staff on the planet. There are always sales and special give-aways too. Seriously, youve got to check this place out.

I have been collecting video games for years now, and NOTHING compares to the quality, condition of games, and customer service seen at #GameOn. I was shocked at how every single game is cleaned, tested and packaged to look new! it really is quite a site to see tons of mint condition retro nintendo, sega and other cartridges taken such good care of! Well done Tristan! Keep it up and this magical store will take out all of the other shops on Long Island!

Im so happy this exists. Im 30 and for over 20 years Ive thought how asinine it is that the big franchise game stores (GameStop, etc) only deal with the latest games, whereas I *only* ever seem to care about the systems that are at least two generations old. I just rediscovered Donky Kong Country II on SuperNES last night thanks to this store, and my fiancé got an original XBOX game that he really wanted. THANK YOU. Will be back!
