On July 31st My wife and I were searching around the area of Northern Blvd Queens for a dealer and I visited many of them the problem was availability of different brands into the same place. I stop in one of the MAJOR dealers and they had many chevrolets, and other brands new and used , but I didnt like the way how I was treated like in a rush going straight to fill out a form to run my credit and giving all my very personal information, I know is part of the process to get my credit score and see if Im entitled to get the approval but it was too rushy and when I hold a bit by saying iM just learning prices because I want to come back in within 10 days with the deposit and all the dealer guy said ohhh you just have to come when you are ready, basically he didnt allow me to learn anything about the car I wanted. Similar behavior with other guys I spoke after. Finally I went to CITY CADILLAC, and everybody was very friendly not rushing, I had the pleasure to meet DAN KEYS , and he shown me vehicles over the website and also we went outside to check the actual cars, even he invited us to drive and feel the vehicle. He was able to work with our budget and credit score , providing suggestions, teaching us how to protect our credit for the future and guiding us in case we would like to trade or get a lease for the next year or so, all was amazing, also DAN introduce us to BRUCE who is in charge of the Bank approvals and get got the best deal ever, starting by reducing the cost of the vehicle to match our monthly budget. All the staff here are very helpful, knowledgeable and not greedy as in other places, they really care about giving you a vehicle with the guarantee, more than 40k miles they dont even recommend to look at it, lol the coffee is marvelous you must try. DAN KEYS if you read this thank you so much for all and give me a year I will go back for one more vehicle. Ricardo

When I arrived at the service department it was 2:10 pm. I asked politely the service manager if I can talk to a mechanic for 5 minutes about the problem of my Escalade. She told me, without even checking that nobody is avaliable and that I have to make an appointment to come the next day. I explained to her that the problem is with the liftgate and I would like to avoid coming the next day and then telling me to come another day because they have to order the part. Two would be the cause of the problem, the struts or the actuator. She insisted that she cant bring anyone without checking again if someone is available for 5 minutes only. You know I would rather go to another service center who has the parts and finish in one say. Anyway, i made the next day appointment and after about 4 hours (mind you I was a wait and not dropoff) she tells me that is the actuator and they have to order it. She told me to come in 3 days. I went dropped off the car and later picked it up without even checking if was fixed. They had changed the left strut and the actuator. I went 20 blocks away to a market and surprisingly I see that the problem is still there. I went right back and told her that. They took the car in, i was able to see the mechanic working on it, and he changed to right strut this time. It took him less than 5 minutes to change it and the car is fixed. When I went the first day, if a mechanic would come and check and change the strut (less than 5 minutes) I would have save time and money by not loosing the next 2 visits. Not only that,,,,thus is a ripoff to the warranty company. The left strut and the actuator they didnt need to be changed. I will also send a letter to the warranty department about this. Now you tell me how would you rate City Cadillac service? Would I recommmend thus place? Sure!!!! TO MY WORST ENEMY!!!!

This has to be the worst dealership ever. After looking online and finding my dream truck, a Yukon XL, I called and spoke to Tatiana. After speaking to her, she faxed me a credit application to my job. I then filled it out and faxed it back. I then spoke to the leasing manager. Believe his last name to be Maccio. After he assured me that the financing was approved, I asked him to have the truck prepped and ready to go. I then again spoke to Tatiana to confirm the time I would be there. After arriving, I felt a bit rushed to sing the paperwork so I asked to see the truck. The first thing I saw was that it was not prepped. Finance manager assured me he would get it washed immediately. I then opened the door to find that it did not have the built in GPS nor did it have the bose sound system. They told me they would install the GPS immediately. I then started the car only to find out it had over 10,000 miles more then the one I contracted to buy from them.A typical bait and switch move. Tatiana hid in a back office. and the Sales manager scrambled around saying he would deliver something similar to my house. Do not trust them at all. BeWare. They will waste your time, just as they wasted mine. Totally lied through their teeth. In the process of contacting the Attorney Generals Office.

When I first walked in and asked for help, I was direct to a salesman who ignored me and didnt even bother to talk directly to me. He said he was too busy. I guess I didnt look like a big commission to him. I was asked to wait, but I was pissed off and left, ready to never come back. Dan Cunningham, the truck sales manager, came after me, apologized on behalf of that rude salesman (who i hope is no longer working there!) and talked me into coming back in. He was super patient, and answered every question I had. We went for a test drive and worked out some numbers. Now I wasnt expecting the numbers he was able to give me, so I had to walk out without a car. But I never forget a helpful person. A few months later, I went back and looked for Dan. He remembered me and even though I didnt buy anything the first time, he still treated me and my family great. Was very patient and pulled out all the stops to make me happy on the deal. We made a deal and I walked out a happy customer. Ive had to go back a few times, and found that there are generally nice ppl working there. But Dan is the only person I will do business with because he is a true professional that knows how to work with ppl. My dad is going to be in the market for a new car soon, and Im sending him right to Dan!

My husband and I recently visit the buick sales department in Long Island City and unfortunately we had the worst experience ever. The sales department and the finance manager were not able to help at all to complete the deal. The car we wanted was offered for 149.99 leased and it end up being $327 ... we waited from 10am to 3pm in order to get a negative answer because we said from the beginning our budget is $240. Also when i asked a copy of our credit reports the financial manager said no its illegal...??? After 2 days straight going to the dealer we wasted 10 hours to accomplish nothing...For 3 days after we were getting calls from a different sales person saying its the end of the month maybe we can give you a better deal, which was $269 but they needed me, my husband and a co-signer. We decided not to get a car, the whole approach was upsetting and disappointing ... We finally got the same car from Sweeney Cars in Boardman Ohio for $239 that perfectly fits our budget and it only took us 2 phone calls 10 minutes total to complete the deal. We also got the color and package we wanted and the treatment was excellent. My point is same companies different approach...
