I had gone to one place in Smithtown to have a tattoo drawn up that I thought of... Totally original. I didnt really like it as it was too cartoony and not realistic. I took it to Rus and told him I didnt love this drawing but I did like parts of it and told him my idea. I had to pay $150 deposit and made an appt. I go in on my tattoo day to find he never even drew it... He then takes the other tattoo artists pic and traced it adding a little bit more detail. I sat for an HOUR while he did this. All said and done I was there 5 hours and he charged me $150 an hour so I paid $750... My problems with it are that I paid a deposit well over a week before, then I had to pay for an hour of your time to basically trace another guys drawing?!?!?! Makes absolutely no sense. Should have been drawn before I got there. He had a deposit n detailed description of what I wanted. Great tattoo artist, very talented but feel like I got ripped off that one hour I sat doing nothing.... Left a sour taste in my mouth. Ive been calling them trying to get an appointment to get it touched up (literally just needs a touch of blue) and no one gets back to me. They had made me an appt then Rus told him to cancel with me havent heard from them since! There are so many tattoo artists out there that are just as good or better! Dont even bother with this shop.

Post by BrothersinFaith is a fraud. His tattoo was of ghost flames (which have NO outline in the first place). They extend completely around his arm. They lightened up during healing on the underside of the arm which is pretty typical of that type of tattoo. This tattoo required a simple 15 minute touch up at best, no issue. I stand behind my work 100% and have been doing this professionally for 10 years. Look at my work for yourself. If this person would have ever came to me and asked me about it, it would have been quite simple. He instead insisted on coming to the shop on my days off and harassing the other artists trying to get money out of the shop. Like I said, Ive been doing this for 10 years and have great pride in what I do, and never has my work or my integrity been questioned in that time. See for yourself.

A complete sloppy job done by JOHN on my flames tattoo, on my forearm. Though the tattoo is brand new, it looks as though ive had it for years. I guess JOHN thought i was going to be happy with an incomplete job and never check out my tatttoo from the underside. He completely failed to shadow the underside and the drawing of the flames is poor. Not only that, but how how does one ink outside of a thick outline?? Ask JOHN!! He knows how to further enhance the low quality of job performed. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH JOHN!! At best, JOHN could only connect dots with his tattoo gun and is by far NOT a true tattoo artist.

Such an excellent experience!! Everyone in the shop is very welcoming and very friendly! I came in for my first tattoo, and it came out excellent! Ive been to so many tattoo shops on LI with friends to get work done, and usually the tattoo artists are pretty rude, but NOT here! They do excellent work, and the shop is very clean! I cant wait to go back and get more done. Id recommend this shop to anyone! Quality.

I waited 15 years to get a horrible tattoo covered with something more meaningful. I am so happy not only with the tattoo itself but with the fact that I was able to express my idea and have a true artist make it work with the existing tattoo. It looks awesome and I cant tell you how many compliments I receive from perfect strangers. So thrilled!

Got my belly button pierced by MIKE, and he did his first ear weave on me, with 5 cartilage springs, I totally recommend Mike, he is by far the best piercer. Everyone at the shop is always nice, and they keep everything clean and sanitized. Very happy with my experience, will definitely come by later to get my tattoos there.

If you want more ink or are a first timer this is a great parlor. My wife and I have many tattoos and Rustin is our only option for getting the work done.
