I have been going to this store since it reopened. It is a little more expensive than shop rite on most items but I like to support the local business. Today 27Sep15 I was shopping and was approached by an employee of this store who proceeded to tell me the next time I come into the store I can not bring the knife that is on my belt. When I asked why she said "its a deadly weapon and illegal". To which I asked where she went to law school. I told her not only have I been carrying in this store since it opened, I also have gone to both the local and state police and inquired if it is legal to carry. They both informed me it was legal. Which I already knew since I looked it up under NY State laws. She then told me I might be going to cut everyone in the store, there is know way of knowing what I will do. I did explain to her if there is a store policy that states I cant carry what is legal to carry by state law, I would like to see it. She then said she will call the police and find out if its legal. And with as nasty a voice as she could muster she said "Have a nice day". If she had said SHE was uncomfortable with me carrying it I may have said fine, but it is clear that she had no other agenda than to bother me. It is obvious because no person in the right mind that is "afraid" of a knife, gun or any weapon for that matter, comes up and becomes confrontational with the person carrying the weapon. I will solve the issue for her though. Neither myself or any family members nor 2 of my friends and their families will be frequenting this establishment any longer. I know this doesnt amount to much of a loss of income, BUT if this type of attack minded behavior persists, who knows how many more people will stop going to this store. I will be contacting newspaper in regards to this incident. Hope it was worth it to the employee.

The best thing about this store is that its never busy. Quick in and out. The products you have to be careful of the expiration dates.

The food is way overpriced and the entire store is full of illegal, undocumented immigrants. ShopRite is a much better choice.

This is a nice small supermarket, especially to get specialty ethnic items and fresh fruit and vegetables.
