Im usually never one to leave a bad review but today I had it to. First off let me just start by saying my family and I have been customers at this store since way back when it was just Toys "R" Us since the day it opened. As a child my parents would bring me there often. Over the years I have always frequently visited the store. I am a toy collector now and video gamer now that I am an adult, so I cant even begin to imagine how much money I have spent at this store since it first opened. I remember when my parents bought me a video game I would have to take the slip over to the customer service counter in the back and someone would go and get the video game for me. I feel it important to give a bit of a backstory and let it be known that I have literally been a lifetime customer at this store. I am a father of a 17 month old girl so now I spend even more money at the store. Toys, formula, food, diapers, wipes, clothes, etc. Its my go-to store for almost everything for my daughter. Today I went in the store and I had about six items in my shopping cart. I went to pay at the "R" zone because it was the only register open and customer service had one person taking care of six people. I wasnt in a rush so I really dont mind waiting on lines so much. When I got to the register I advised the cashier Jose at the register that I was going to price match on Amazon, five out of the six items. The first item he scanned I was going to price match for $10.99 on Amazon which Toys "R" Us had it for $19.99. For whatever reason he called the manager. The manager came and went and then he proceeds to tell me that he needs to see the website itself and that it cannot be a screenshot. I told him that I am in the store literally at least once a week, (some of the other friendly workers in there actually know me by name but I did not see any of them yet today) and I price match to Amazon all the time with a screenshot all the time and I dont have any issues. I use a screenshot because that entire area there is a cellular dead zone. Rudely he doesnt compromise with me at all and tells me that he needs to see the website itself. I told him Ive never had this kind of problem before and I dont know why its an issue now. I had to walk almost to TD Bank to get some sort of service to show him the damn website. I walked back to him with the website on the screen of my phone and he still would not price match it because he said he still couldnt tell if it was sold by Amazon itself. I cant tell you how mad I was when I left that store with nothing I came for. It got me so mad I didnt want to buy anything anymore. Ive dealt with quite a few friendly employees in that store and now I have to deal with crap from some heavyset punk kid...? when I have been shopping there for my entire life. I have had a few bad experiences at the store but I have always bit my tongue in light of a few friendly employees and I have never had any issues price matching anything until I met this tool. This store needs to get its head out of its ass and learn to put the customer first. Ive been shopping here for way too long and spending God knows how much money to deal with what I dealt with today.

Terrible customer service they all seem to be there waiting for the end of the day to come and are completely unaware of anything that Toys r us sells or any kind of promotion whatsoever. The Manager Kelly is a complete tool and waste of DNA, is is rude to almost anyone or anything that crosses her path she acts as though we the customers are ruining her day with our simple questions. For what was supposed to be a simple transaction turned into a nightmare filled with incoherent baboons and the leader of the pack Ms Kelly. It only took a 30 minute trip to a different Toys r us to get excellent service and alot of apologies for having to make a completely unnecessary trip, thanks Yorktown Toys r us, you s***.

Came in for the Baby Registry Party this morning. Staff was unaware and manager was extremely rude and unhelpful. Walked away without answering the associates question about the event and left us customers at the counter. When called on the radio, the manager rudely said that "the point of the event is to create a baby registry, is that what they are doing?". At other store locations, there were flyers and giveaways as an incentive to show up to the event early. That is what my husband and I did. Currently 4 months pregnant with our 1st baby, had all intentions of making a baby registry today, instead we jut walked out of the store. Thank you Jefferson Vally Babies R Us for ruining our experience.

Great customer service at the bike shop. Noel is very knowledgeable and was able to help me select the appropriate child size bicycle I needed. Two months after the purchase of the bike, one of the tires needed to be repaired. I brought the bicycle back to the store and Noel fixed it by replacing the inner tube. I must say, it was a good thing I purchased a care plan for the bike. No hassle repair and excellent customer service from Noel.

Staff leaves bottles of cleaner on the floor in the family room. Toilet paper never makes it into the holder. Boxes and inventory are everywhere and stacked unsafely. The store manager Kelly is either never there or on vacation. She has been avoiding meeting me in person since December. I shop here weekely because I have no choice . I should be getting paid to shop here. It is appalling.

This BabiesRus is VERY SMALL! They dont have everything in stock or carry everything like the bigger BabieRus does. I went to look for a size 2 pampers diapers and they didnt have size 2! My suggestion is check online or call to see if they have the item you want. Sometimes its worth driving the extra half hour to get good customer service and have a lot of products to choose from.

I am a 19 year old male and although I understand I am not the target demographic of the store, I did not appreciate someone following me around the whole entire store less than 5 feet away from me. Then when I brought it up it was written off as "Thats what we do." Will be following up with corporate office.

Always enjoy a toy store with my kids. This Toys r us however has much higher prices than any other stores. Even Toys r us online prices are cheaper than the in store price. If you know what you need look it up on your phone ahead of time and ask them to price match
