Vitality Pharmacy is the best drug and surgical store in the Queens and Nassau county area. They stock the most complete line of medications and can compound any prescription your Doctor prescribes. They also carry a full line of hard to get controlled medications for pain and other disorders that require stronger medications. Their staff is courteous and knowledgeable with a lic. pharmacists available for counseling at all times. They have a trained surgical staff that can fill any prescription for any appliance or dressing your doctor orders. Their compounding services includes making any medication tasty for both children and adults. As a courteousy they have a Notary Public on staff, call for hours. My family has been customers of vitality for 30 years and vitality has aided us through some very serious diseases including cancer and provided all our needs including dealing with the often difficult insurance companies. They are the best.

This is the only place to get my prescription medicine and they will not accept what the insurance is offering to them, so they expect me to pay 615.00! I had to find this out after waiting over an hour for the prescription to be filled! The insurance approved the claim and Vitality refused it because they were unhappy with the amount! Now I cannot afford the medication I need as they arre the only pharmacy that has it! It is niceto be held for ransom.They were also rude when the rep from the insurance co tried to find another pharmacy they might know! Unbelieveable! Never thought I would see the day the insurance co approves a claim and the business is a pain about it!

They always have any medication that my brother needs. All other pharmacies dont have the special medications that my brother needs for his seizures and for his lungs. They even specially compound certain medicines that are formulated just for him. While other pharmacies tell us we have to pay for antibiotics etc, we go to vitality and they dont charge us. Never going to another pharmacy again.
