Very crappy customer service. People are.not nice i dont know who hired the dike lady who so rude. The store is conveniently close to my house and i prefer Auto Zone over Advanced Auto a2md Pep Boys. But i must and will drive the extra 5 minutes to Advanced Auto and Pep Boys until my favorite auto parts store Auto Zone has refreshed tnis whole stores staff. No one wants to help, not once in over 50 times i have visted this store nobody has greeted me. Its a joke of a store i dont know how long its going to stay open the way its running now. Im not there for His and convos im just asking if im in aisle looking aimlessly around im obvious looking for something i cant find. If the one dike lady and the lazy guy asked me if i needed help it would have been a sale for the store. We all made eye contact numerous times in that visit but not one word was said to me or even simple hey welcome to auto zone. Just the we dont have it please leave look. Found out every auto store carries what I was lookin for it just simply needed to be pointed in the direction. I left and went to Advanced Auto were i was greeted upon entering. About 15 seconds later was asked by another employee if i was looking for somethong in particular, i said yes told him what i was looking for the employee went and retrieved it from the back for me so I can get the paying process started as quick as possible. Was in and out in about 10 min at advanced and left with everytging i needed and wanted. Was purchasing everything to wash my brand new car. Dont know if Auto Zone employees works on commission or not but im guessing they dont because the lack of motivation and will to work and atleast greet a customer. I didnt ask the Advanced kids if they work on commission but they sure seem like they do. They were ready from the second i walked in the store to help find what i needed in super quick time. I Loved auto zone and was super excited one was opeing/opened about 5 min or less aways from my house, super convient no more hopping on highway for Pep Boys or 112 for Advanced auto. But thats not the case I still have to go to Advanced and Pep boys because Auto Zone is a ghost town store just customers walking around for a couple of minutes then leaving because the non communication between customer and employees. I thought having it close was a going to be a good thing. This is the only Auto Zone on LongIsland I have tried to shop in. All other stores I have purchased many times. Always greeted at the Port Jeff ,Mastic, Selden location Auto Zone Stores always awesome cool helpfull people working. Thought the Auto Zones shopping experience was supposed to be the similar at every location. Especially with a brand spanking new store it should not be a bad experience for any customer. Auto Zone Company is lucky because If I didnt so happen to like to Auto Zone and if i was a first time customer visiting the patchogue store id be put off by the lack of customer service and lack of employees walking and greeting and never visit a Auto Zone again because the first impression. The other Auto Zones i named before are why I prefer Auto Zone over other auto part stores. But untill the Patchogue store employees are overhauled I will continue to shop with advanced and Pep boy. I would go to the other awesome Auto Zones but theres no point in wasting gas if i have 3 auto part stores right in my town and 1 out of the 3 is a Auto Zone right in town but it is not worthy to run/compete with the other stores or even other Auto Zones. So please someone important at Auto Zone needs to see this because i want to shop at this location again. Dont think this store is here to stay long the ways its being run. Angry employees who dont want to be there. Never wrote a review but this needed one. Never have felt so uncomfortable in store in my life. Other shoppers felt the same. Saw a couple of the same fellow shoppers at Advanced Auto down the block with same experience and feeling toward staff at that Auto Zone. The looks given by employess are like why are you here? Wedonthaveanything
